Totally Worth It and Actually A Bargain
I have spent over a week on and off using this little gem and am blown away by it versatility. My only previous interaction with scopes was an ancient Techtronics that was a nightmare to setup. With this little gem, you push ONE button to get your signal then adjust to your liking (voltage sensitivity, frequency, trigger, etc).I was struggling for weeks attempting to diagnose a flakey audio input on a Mackie SRM450V2. Using the signal generator and auto setup, I was able to trace down an unsoldered electrolytic capacitor on the minus side of the balanced input in MINUTES using this scope! I simply connected the BNC cable to the generator output and clip to the amplifier input. Turned on the generator (it even automatically started at 1KHz - just what I wanted), touched a probe on generator lead for a second and performed an autoset and then proceeded to trace both plus and minus balanced input circuits. while pressing on various components. Voila! Found it!There are more useable features on this little gem than you can imagine. The built-in menu system is well thought out and rather intuitive (at least to me). I'll probably be "learning" features for the next year, or more. All-in-all an incredible device for the price. I have not noticed any of the "glitches" others have noted. Perhaps it already has the newest firmware. The voltage levels and frequencies displayed (BOTH - numerically on the screen with the push of a button - WOW - I love digital goodies) appear to be accurate given that they were well within the tolerances of technical documents/schematics I was working with. The vendor is totally responsive and a pleasure to work with. That in it self is worth twice the price!

Many useful features (once you figure out how to use them)
This scope has an excellent display and many useful features especially considering its very reasonable price. When I started exploring its capabilities I managed to get it into a state in which it wouldn't respond to any user input except the power switch! It was OK after a power cycle and factory reset. I think the SW doesn't handle unexpected inputs gracefully, and the user manual doesn't spell everything out, so it takes a little while to figure everything out. I think it was worth the effort. The SW can be reflashed and 3rd party support is available online.

A very nice Oscilloscope
I am not a power user so I cannot speak to that. However, it does what I need it to do. But the best part is the firmware can be modified. I purchased the 2C10 which does not have the internal function generator. However, when I got the unit I inspected the inside and found that all the parts are on the mother board for a function generator. I got the firmware for the 2D15 and that firmware activated the function generator. It also gave me 150MHz of bandwidth vs the 100MHz of bandwidth on the 2C10.If you are not going to be a power user then I would recommend this oscilloscope.

Hantek dso2d15
I bought one of these as a return. Upon arrival, I tested it. I discovered that it had a problem with locking up with minor offset adjustments. What you should keep in mind is the software that Hantek provides publicly is not the low level firmware. What they provide is the operating system software. The real firmware is more like the Bios on a computer. My firmware was listed as 3200. Once I upgraded it, the lockup issues went away. Don't forget that these scopes are basically mini pc's with a scope interface, and software.***I will note that if your hardware has been populated with the generator parts then buying anything more than a c10 will be a waste of money unless you get more accessories with it. The bandwidth is only software limited. If you want to insure the generator parts are populated then go with a D10. You will need Phoenix platform tools, usb adb drivers, use fastboot command lines, the correct firmware edition and use the out of view fel switch. All that software has been generously collected in one place. You can use EEV blog and youtube "Techcorner" for reference. *** With many products these days the consumer is an unwilling beta tester. Aside from the bus decoding my Tektronix 2246A can still be very useful.

Very good for beginner, hobbyist, and workshop use
This is a very good oscilloscope for the price. The controls conform to the standard that old style analog oscilloscopes and better DSOs use, rather than being using buttons for time/div and volts/div like the really cheap beginner oscilloscopes. My advice is to go for the 2D15 rather than the 2C15 because at the too fitty point for a little extra you get a basic function generator built in as well. This is a nice convenience feature that's useful for slightly more advanced stuff like impedances and circuit responses. This scope can also handles mains power (this is the cat II rating), which is extremely nice to have if you're trying to troubleshoot equipment or appliances that are powered from 120VAC or 240VAC. While it doesn't have three channels and thus cannot handle three-phase power, for a majority of digital and analogue electronics, this is quite adequate.Futhermore, there is an active community that can be turned to for unofficial support. My only complaint about the official support is that they're not very clear about the firmware vs software that goes on the scope, and that they're not very good about posting all of the actual firmwares publicly (they seem to age them out as they post new updates). Mine came with a mini CD-R, but it was blank and I had to burn the manual and firmwares to that myself. I thought it was a little odd, but I did like the fact that I could go fetch the firmware and set up the backup disk the way I wanted. It would have been nice if they'd pre-labelled it, though. My final note is that also these devices had been noted to have problems with locking up during use in the past, indicating the firmware was possibly in the alpha state when the device went to mfgr,, the manufacturer seems to have worked out most of these issues and as of now, I have not seen very many issues with it.
