Can you use this on buttercream cakes?

Yes… but for better success, refrigerate first. I iced the cake with buttercream and then used the stencil. It’s smeared. Chilling the cake helped alleviate some of the problem.

There’s a learning curve with these. Need to secure to cake with pins or else icing bleeds and the design isn’t sharp.
