I would not use for larger birds. Good size for parakeets.

One thing I always dislike about having a bird is the difficulty of trying to discard hulls without throwing out leftover seeds. This feeder not only separates the hulls from the seeds, it drops them into a pull out drawer which is easy to empty. And even better, no hulls all over the floor.

I like this product. However the one they sent me was not the one advertised. This feeder has one whole basin and is not separated in the middle as shown in the pictures. Thats fine because I did not need a split feeder. Secondly as is this feeder is not suitable for birds bigger than finches because the area to pick food from is very small. I have Parakeets and they need a wider area to feed from. With that said it was a simple fix. I simply removed a wall in the feeder basin and sanded down the hump. In the second photo I uploaded you can see the wall I removed. In the primary photo you can now see how wide the feeding area is. Still a good product. Very easy to install and modify.

Did not match picture on ad. In order to secure to the exterior of the cage. wires need to be cut. The top has a poor fit and so far I have not been able to secure it.

Don't waste your time get this one first!!! First one I got by Rypet didn't have hook to stop door from closing if put on outside cage and no hooks to put on inside cage. Second one by Pinvnby held apart as soon as I picked it up.. was junk. Third time was a charm, it had everything I wanted...the yellow one has the divider to give birds a choice in seed. They wasted no time in checking it out and feeding. Third time was a charm on getting the right one! Finally no more seed to vacuum everyday! :)

It's works fine but the bird are able to open the lid so I had to secure it.

Can fill out side. holds lots. Catches all the shells for easy clean up. This is a must have feeder birds love it! Just cut a few bars with wire cutters. Easily see seed amounts.

These where ok little pricey for what you receive. This feeder catches the seed ok but you have to keep dumping it before the hopper is done. Meaning the tray is not big enough to catch all of the shells of seed that you put in the hopper. If you are buying these to help with the bird mess it only prolongs it for a couple days and the bottom of mine keep falling off they don't snap together the best.
