I ordered two different belts from Amazon. This one, specifically for a right inguinal hernia and another more “universal” (and more expensive) hernia belt. This belt was far easier to use and provided pressure at the right place immediately. The other “universal “ belt was clunky, and difficult to adjust especially with the pain. The Uriel will get me through to surgery on Monday.

I've been in serious trouble and serious pain due to COVID. Not that I have COVID because I don't but I have a serious Inguinal Hernia which is in the danger zone of bursting and strangling my blood supply which means? Curtains.I studied for two days all I could regarding this hernia and every medical site states that a few symptoms such as when severe stomach pain occurs see a doctor ASAP to prevent the intestines strangling the blood supply. Mean hospital's I'm affiliated with call after call and email after email created not one reply. I then talked with my specialists (for another specialty) there who said they were not seeing patients right now although she was VERY concerned with my condition. I went through this with several hospitals with no luck. I had a couple of days with cramps so bad I was seconds from going to the emergency center. I read on Amazon about this belt and bought it. It's stunning what happened and even the cause of some embarrassment yesterday when I finally saw the surgeon which I was able to do because I said the bulge is a matter of life and death not to mention severe stomach cramps. I wore the belt a day before my hospital visit and slept with it on all night. I woke up and could not find the hernia and even better yet no stomach pain. I figured it would kick in within a few hours but never did. At the hospital, the surgeon asked where the hernia was since it wasn't visible anymore so she searched for it. Today is day 3 with this belt and still no pain. It has also kept the hernia in place. This is much more than I ever expected from this belt and very sorry I suffered two weeks before checking out information on how hernia belts could help before and after surgery.

Did not help me. Surgery was the only solution.

Good quality materials and construction. Possibly just my body type that is making it not work well.

It worked with modification.Kinda like a chastity belt that's off center..... Yeah I know....TMI..... :}

This truss is extremely well made. It's adjustable through the waist and additionally through the groin/around the leg. This is the third different brand of truss I have bought through Amazon, and third time was the charm. It lays well under the clothes, fits well and is tremendously sturdy.

The hook/loop (Velcro) on the under crotch strap is failing. It appears that the loops are opening. It's still usable and I won't need it much longer so "I got my money's worth". However I wouldn't recommend it for long term use.
