Since I couldn't get the MTB I wanted because of supply issues, I opted for this bike for proof of concept. It did prove that an ebike can make you work just as hard. It's a good tool for a weekend warrior MTBiker. This bike also let me appreciate that high quality parts make a big difference on the trail. So if I want to keep this for a year, I'm going to upgrade the fork. When going down trails on semi rocky terrain, the current fork gives me an adrenaline surge because I'm afraid it's going to come off. On the model I have its a 3x7 for the gears. It will be fun making it a 1x7 because the extra gears are extra weight and I can't tell it makes any difference on an ebike. I also get excellent feedback when I'm applying the brakes. The high pitch squealing sound they make let's me know the brakes are trying their hardest to slow down. The front disc brake is a great design. The way it cuts into the paint and metal of the fork gives it extra stopping power.UPDATE: After 6 months the electric components broke. Too cheap to last more than 6 months.

Very high quality build.....packaging excellent...easy to assembly and quality parts....comes with very bright headlight and fenders as well.....battery came @ 90 percent charged and has a key lock mechanism to secure it to bike....LCD easy to read.....good disk brakes and Shimano gear system.....this bike would be a great mountain bike under any circumstances but with pedal assist, that's where it will shine.....I'm 60 and need a bit of help at times on a regular bike with hills, etc....this bike will allow me to ride again.....also with walk assist, no more pushing bike up any kind of hill......price was good....Amazon had a 150 off coupon....shipping was around 7 days by fed ex......again, Carton, packaging excellent....samebike team answered a few emails I had same day.....warranty is also good with this bike and it's components....hoping for many hours of pleasure with my samebike...😄

I bought this bike 10 months ago and it worked great. Now the battery on the bike has died. I contacted Samebike support for a warranty replacement and received no response until I threatened to get Amazon involved. Samebike support finally replied and asked for pictures. I sent pictures of the faulty battery to the support department but once again it has been several days with no response. DO NOT purchase items from this seller as they will not honor the warranty listed on their site.
