Sounds like it's already worn out
I used this brand to replace the rear passenger window motor a couple of years ago. Even with grandkids it still works and sounds like new. This purchase was to replace the drivers window motor. Easy enough to put in with a 5 year old's assistance. It works fine, up and down easy, but the motor sounds like it's about worn out. I took it apart again and there isn't anything dragging or touching where it shouldn't be. It closes tight and opens all the way it just doesn't sound as good as i think it should. I guess we'll wait and see.Received a day earlier than stated!

Only lasted 2 years
I bought this on June 27th, 2019 and it broke August 7th, 2021. The plastic pieces that hold the metal window cradle to the metal slide broke when I shut my drivers door. I don't excessively slam my door when I close it so cheap parts is the likely culprit.*** Update ** I just noticed Dorman offered product support for this item until June 29th 2021, so they offer a 2 year warranty but this item broke at 2 years and 39 days....

The new dorman one just didn't seem like it was powerful
Bought this for a 2009 ford escape. The old ones motor broke, so I thought why not just replace the whole unit. The new dorman one just didn't seem like it was powerful. To be honest I feel like it will be good maybe for a a year or two before it breaks. It works however out of the box, just the window goes up and down pretty slowly. Simple to install and takeout, various videos online. 7 bolts holding the regulator/motor which took less than 10 minutes, however the door trim and panels took about half hour. All in all, set aside an hour, and instal should be a breeze.

Works as advertised.
Was easy to install but do NOT use an impact driver to do so. I sheared off one of the studs and had to drill out and replace the stud.

A great replacement for original equipment
A great replacement for original equipment.At first i was thrown off by a difference in the connector. But it plugs in directly to the original plug. It just has a 6 in length of cable which makes it look different.The speed is slightly faster than the original and has been working fine for. About 2 or 3 months.I would recommend this product.
