Q: Will this clay work in silicone moulds and dry hard enough to keep the design if it gets bumped or something presses up against it?

It works great in flexible molds and it takes detail really well -- your design is going to be fully permanent and impervious to being flattened, scratched, or rubbed away. Depending on the thickness of the piece it can take days or more than a week to completely set in a mold, but once hard it's not going to change shape at all. The clay is more flexible the thinner it is. A piece 1/4" thick or more has some give to it but is not at all soft or rubbery. This is perfect for my needs...it's basically a flexible & unbreakable light plastic that is worlds better than plaster for my application.

Q: Can i soften this clay with water?

Very little water will do otherwise it get's very messy and hard to work with when too wet. Usually if the clay is hard, I throw it out. I find that keeping the wrapper on and placing in a freezer back is very helpful. I also keep my clay in a drawer where it is dark. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this product be used in outdoor projects? Is it waterproof after drying?

I have only used it to substitute the sugar paste tecnique, so that my bouquet of roses last longer indoor. It dries like plastic. I have not tried checking if the humidity will soften it outside. Great product.
