This brush is a 9 row hard brush. This brush has extra long bristles meaning it flexes so its not going to be a super hard type brush. This is the first time i ever put extra long bristles on a hard brush. This will not feel like the hard brushes you are used to this is made with hard bristles but will feel softer to you due to the long bristles. Keep this in mind if your looking for a really hard brush this brush aint it. If your looking for something different that feels great then this brush is the answer

Not real boar bristle! Beware! Plastic!
Description stated that these brushes are 100% boar bristles but when I got it you can clearly see that these are nylon bristles. The bristles also fall out a lot. I can’t use nylon on my hair

Not a hard brush but it’s worth it
Though this brush is not a HARD brush. The pull on this brush is great. Also, bristles are not boar however I’m a medium textured waver and the bristles feel great on my head. The brush still manages to get down to my scalp and I’m currently 6 weeks into my wolf. Great brush.
