My girl got into some nasty burrs and matted her entire self - like Fort Knox. Her long blond hair turned from gorgeous curls to a solid mass with tons of sticky burs all in her. Then she got wet - and she locked up. Cutting her hair costs me 175 minimum because she is a big girl. She takes the groomer 3-4 hours, and she costs me a lot. The scheduling, the time, the money - it's all a lot. I was very nervous to try to cut her hair, especially because I would have to shave her down to the skin (the professional groomers also said so). So I am like, this dog acts like I am ending her life when I try to clip her nails, so grooming her myself is going to be a huge mistake. But I decided to try anyway. I got this trimmer after reading a ton of reviews. Many of the reviews said it doesn't work well on thick doggy hair or doodle hair, but many of the other reviews said it works great. But all the other clippers say the same thing. I decided to try this one due to the low price point - as a starter shaver. Well, I did an ok job. 3 little nicks cause in some spots I tried against the grain - and she is bald. Not only that but the sound didn't scare her, she didn't act like I was ending her life and she was so easy to redirect her little bits of anxiety with just a small treat here and there. I had to recharge a few times - the clippers were still working but they seemed to slow a few times. Charging them up gave her a break. So over the span of 3 hours she is balder than the day she was born. All the burs are gone - she has a fresh blank canvas to grow back in. PROS: Low noise, cuts her hair (thick wavy golden doodle, x-large breed), easy to use, nice attachments, ok battery life (probably way better with a smaller and less thick haired dog), sliced right through mats easily. Easy to clean. CONS: Wish it came with something better for the paws. The width of this blade is just a little much and I'm definitely afraid I will cut her and she will never trust the clipper again in my hands. NOTES: You need to oil this! every 1/2 hour you spend on really intensive clipping, stop, clean the hair off and put 2-3 drops of oil. Clipper/razor oil is really cheap - don't be afraid to use it! Charge it more often than it says. It works great - but the clippers start to sound sad, plug it in for a bit.

This helped us tremendously. Our dog was in need of much needed grooming so we took it upon ourselves to save money and groom our goldendoodle mini dog. He looks so much better and we saved a lot of money. The noise level was quiet and did not scare him. The accessories were great to have as we went from a 9mm to a 6mm to cut his hair. The clippers did a good job. No skin irritation afterwards. Great product!

Battery maintains a long charge, motor is quiet, and it cuts very well. I have a German shepherd-husky mix. Her hair is more medium length, not. like a husky or long-haired shepherd. She does not mind being groomed. I had prevousl been using my Wahl trimmer, but it is designed for humans, and would clump up with the dog hair. Plus, my Wahl is corded and this item is cordless - it really makes things much easier.

For at home clippers these are as good as it gets!!! My mini poodle has very bad anxiety and to avoid putting her through unneeded stress of going to a groomer I decided to start doing it myself. She was really fluffy before I used these, I gave her a bath brushed her out then went in with the clippers and they worked great! Love the cordless option! They are also pretty light weight which helps after over an hour of shaving. Highly recommend for any at home grooming!

I’ve been using these clippers to groom my 15-lb Pomeranian, and they work really well. They’re powerful enough for his thick, fluffy coat while still being gentle and easy to use. I decided to try grooming my dog at home in an effort to save some money because the cost to have her groomed continues to rise. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on supplies in case I decided home-grooming isn’t for me (or my dog). For the price, these clippers were okay. My dog was bathed, dry, and thoroughly brushed before we started, but I felt like I kept having to take the clipper guards or attachments off to clean her fur/dog hair away from the blade. Other than that, these clippers were easy to use, had a quiet hum that didn’t bother my dog while they were on, and gave her an even cut. 3 stars because they were just okay.

Works amazing well. Very light weight. Came fully charged. No problem going through my shitzapoo’s 4 inch coat. Small enough to do a fantastic job on the feet and pads and the face, but tough enough to do the body. Price is more than reasonable for its quality. Scissors were sharp and did a good job with final touch ups.
