While I was disappointed that Sarmonic sold me on a $60 mic because of some photos on the outside showing this model of phone holder, believing that it also came in the package, after adding this it has become my go to for filming vlogs.I've been through a bunch of holders that were of shoddy quality over the years and rarely last a full year. This metallic design should last for years to come, assuming future phone upgrades will still be able to fit into this which is almost certain, given the width that it can be expanded to.The microphone that this was designed for fits perfectly on top after screwing it in and does not move at all once secured. Same for your phone which was a concern of mine but after putting it through several hours of use on the first day I tried it out, there was never any slippage involved with either of the tightening mechanisms.If you own the boom style mic and enjoy making smooth, high fidelity audio videos, I highly recommend you pair the two to get the most out of your video productions.

Not quite a hand grip stabilizer. Moves the video all over the place. Will be returning.

Secures to phone well.. but did not help the stability of my video at all.
