Can you use a regular air pump to blow up balloons, or must you use helium?

You can use regular air. The foil balloons come with a straw to blow them up without helium.

The letters are large...same as you would get from any balloon store about 1 1/2- 2 ft long i guess...they were perfect, loved them.

Do strings come with it for balloons?

No strings, at least not with mine. We didn't use helium so I didn't double check the packaging, but I am fairly certain there is no string.

Is there a diagram on making the arch?

I didnt do the setup myself so I'm not sure if there was one inside the package.
