I still don't know when this arrived but I was sure glad to see it
In one of my notes to you I said that I had not yet received the Folding Clothes Rack. I wrote this note after the delivry date had expired by a number of days. I need to apologize for this statement because I was undoubtedly wrong. We had had our community mailboxes raided and so we changed out deliveries by using the street address would be needed for a package this size---no doubt that it would not fit into any box at the Post Office. However, when we inquired they told us that all mail/packages are to be directed to our little P.O. Box. Who knew???? I still don't know when this arrived but I was sure glad to see it. !!! My husband picked it up and put it together the very same day. This drying rack is used all the time. Folded, it is stored between my freezer and dryer. the clothes are takes out of the dryer after 10 minutes if drying time and dries outside. With a gentle breeze, my knit t- shirts are dry in no time at all are ready to put on---no wrinkles!!! There are times when I use this rack to hold strips of 1-2" of material for rag rugs or strip quilting. It will hold up for a number of years and was patched up several times because strong winds knocked it over. Soooo, we patched it up until we could not anymore. I would cry if this was discontinued--I just love it!!! Thank you , Miles Kimble for continuing to sell this. Fuzzhead

Not the caddy in the picture
I received the product and it wasn't the same as the one in the picture. The space at the top isn't as wide and it has a hook & eye on each side instead of a longer bar like the one pictured. It won't fold up flat. I notified Get Organized and they were very friendly and apologetic. They shipped out another one immediately. However, it was the same wrong one as the one they had already shipped. Also, no instructions in the first box and both boxes were pretty banged up. The second one was open when it reached my post office. I emailed Get Organized again, but didn't get a response from my second email. I think they tried to do the right thing, but I don't think they carry the product that is pictured.

This thing gave me a lot of trouble assembling...
Liked the price, simplicity, and compactness. But two of the four cross-bars each had a screw anchor in the end that was extremely difficult, even though I was very careful not to cross-thread. I had to grab the heads of both screws with pliers and muscle them in, which, of course, meant chewing up the metal of the screw heads and scratching the paint on the poles around the screw. Also, there were supposed to be plastic crescent spacers in the hardware package, but they were missing. (I don't think it makes any functional difference, but it might have made the junction a little tidier.) What I did get was an extra hook that I didn't need.

Trash
This was the worst. Never got to put it together. 1st of all it was missing "all" of the nylon washers that are a must to keep the thing sturdy. 2nd none of the screws fit into the poles. I had gotten one from Harriet Carter many years ago, figured I can use a new one since that one was so old. I tossed it and got this hunk of junk. What a big mistake, I should have kept my old one. This one is getting trashed today. Back to Harriet Carter for me..

The metal material is good and solid for the price of $22
The metal material is good and solid for the price of $22.48. I use it while ironing in the living room and transport ironed cloths to the bedroom without moving the rack. As with any other rack it should not be moved with cloths on it. This may be the main reason that people complain about parts breaking or rack collapsing because of the weight of the cloths. When the rack is empty then I fold it for storage. If you are impatient assembling things, then I recommend getting someone to help, you putting it together. Fold and tape the instructions to the frame, and don't peel off the part numbers in case you may have to disassemble it for travel or if you move. And yes as another reviewer mentioned, one of the legs is shorter than the other, but not by much. Just stick something under the short leg and move on. Improvise. At home, away from home, or on the job, it is recommended one learn to improvise to keep one's sanity, for safety, and to keep a cool head. If plan "A" doesn't work go to plan "B," and if "B" doesn't work go to plan "C." If "C" doesn't work, pray. Actually assembling the rack was an easy "A." I recommend this rack for the price. If you want to load a rack with a lot of cloths, or for storage of cloths then I recommend a more expensive, sturdier rack.

just what I was looking for
Plan to adjust/expand the spread to reduce its height so I can place it in my laundry room on top of my w/d which puts it close to my air vent for drying. Also will not take up floor space in my house when in use. It's sturdy but also light weight and works for air drying my knits and cottons better than I had ever hoped. The frame collapses to just a few inches in width so fits perfectly behind a door or between my dryer and the wall. Would definitely recommend as a useful, good value purchase.

Does the job just fine
I've been using this for a few months now, and it works fine. Great for apartment living. I use it to dry dress shirts and tee shirts. Assembly was easy. It came with hooks and eyes rather than the bar as pictured, and the hooks were upside down. No problem here, I removed them easily and reattached them. It can be wobbly if you don't take the time to set it up properly, and it's not designed for heavy items. But I give it five stars anyway, since it was cheap, sets up easily, and folds flat for easy storage. Thanks to this lightweight rack, I no longer need to hang wet shirts on the shower rod. Glad I didn't pay more...this device works fine.
