MastaPlasta Self-Adhesive Patch for Leather and Vinyl Repair, Bandage, Black - 4 x 1.5 Inch

I purchased this product because I had two small tears on the seat of my office chair. The tears would poke me behind my leg when wearing shorts, so I was considering purchasing a new chair. I saw this product and decided to purchase one to see how it worked out. It did the job so well on the first tear that I purchased a second one for the other tear. The material is very soft and smooth; it feels very comfortable to the skin. Note the adhesive on the back of the product is not very strong, so I purchased a Tear Mender product which I saw on other reviews. This combination worked perfectly. Very satisfied with this product.

I am using this patch on the inside of a baseball glove to cover a tear and abrasion. So far it has worked great and the adhesion is much better than expected considering the surface it's covering isn't smooth (it's worn and fabric-like). If you're using on a smooth surface, I'm sure this would work exceptionally. I'll definitely be purchasing more when the need arises!

Used this "Band-Aid" type to cover a tiny rip on the side of my motorcycle seat. Been nine months and so far, so good. Not peeling on the edges, blends in well and could even be overlooked as part of the upholstery design. I wish Masta Plasta offered this in a smaller and more plain design, instead of only offering this size in a "Band-Aid" design.

I was sadly getting ready to throw away a nice big leather chair that I had. Apparently whenever I sat in it I must have dug my elbow into the same spot over and over leading to a small tear. I looked at a lot of leather repair kits. I thought they all looked a little lame. This one looks like a leather bandaid that's almost the same color as my chair. I think I didn't want the other leather repair kits because they all tried and failed to not be noticed. This leather repair looks enough like my leather chair to not be immediately noticed. If you do notice it it just looks like the chair needed a bandaid. Works for me.
