Can do Magic
I am impressed by how smooth the shave is, I am using it to shave my head, it's just like using a razor but without the painful cuts and skin rash. The magic part is that I didn't see any hair-shaving fall anywhere until I opened the top compartment and found everything. super clean and easy to use.

No USB charger/bad shave
Super disapointed to receive a product that is not using a USB or USBC charger. 1 It's a pain to make me travel with an addtional charger when I could use the same as my phone's charger. 2 It's bad for the environment. It will end up joining a collection of more than 20 useless chargers from various stuff I bought in the last 15 years. It's a real shame. I thought companies like Philips had agreed to use a common system to reduce waste and simlify their customers lives. However good is the product. They need to improve on the charge system. But this product is also bad. It doesnt shave me completely. Where it shaves it shaves well, but it misses a lot. Better use a good old manual shaver.

Do Not Buy!
The box wasn’t sealed and was already opened. The item looks old and it doesn’t seem it’s a new item.

Having come from a blade and foam shave, I wanted something without all the hassle of washing, lathering, washing again etc. Tried a cheaper Chinese make at first, but returned that due to poor battery life. Chose this Philip's, and managed to get it on offer, roughly half the price as on the Philip's website. Who would pay £180 for a shaver?? Anyway, great packaging, all cardboard and recyclable. Came with a full charge indicated on the LED panel, which is one colour (until the battery needs recharging, which then turns to red). The panel shows battery level, in bars, cleaning reminder, and travel lock indicator. Also included was a hard, fabric covered travel case and a tiny brush for cleaning. No cover for the three heads, though. The shaver is quiet, and does appear underpowered going by the noise it makes. However, with one pass, it shaved through two day's stubble with ease. Yes, you'll have to go over areas more than once for the closest shave, but it's easy to get an interview-ready shave with just a pass. The three heads move independently, following the contour of your face and neck. Don't press too hard, just let the blades do their job and you wont suffer a red throat. Use the built in, pop up trimmer to shape your sideburns, and give it all a quick rinse under the tap to clean it. Alternatively, you can shave wet or with lather. If you do use lather, battery life is slightly reduced due to the blades working harder, and make sure you rinse the heads during your shave to get rid of clogging soap. Feels good in the hand, and is a good weight. Well balanced, I never once accidentally turned the shaver off. For me, the full charge lasted around 8 or 9 days, and it was fully recharged in an hour. A shaver specific 2 pin adaptor is supplied. You're told not to shave with it plugged in, but a 5 minute charge is sufficient for a full shave, if it's needed quickly. All in all, a better buy than the cheaper Chinese brands, although at around twice the price when bought on offer. A two year warranty is available upon registration.

A very well engineered device. First use was good, gives a nice close shave. Only used it dry shaving so can’t comment on the wet use. Easy to clean with water or brush. I bought the cleaning pod separate which really does help clean and lubricate the heads. If you can get a deal with the pod and solution it’s worth buying it together. You can get extra attachments like a nose and beard trimmer for it as well, the heads just swap over with a twist. Charging is via the stand on base, or the cord can be plugged directly into the shaver itself. Only time will tell if it’s durability and battery life.
