The description should indicate the size.- I expect that it is Large/Extra Large, but the description needs to indicate the same.

The "orange" glove is the large and the "yellow" is the small. I tried the yellow but it was too tight for my hands to move freely. The larger one is a little big but you will need that because these gloves are a bit stiff. They are the best fishing gloves if you don't want your hands cut up. I love mine and wouldn't trade them for anything!!! I hope this helps.

I ordered the large/xlarge and it fits my hand perfectly, however my female hand compared to a male may slightly differ, hope that helps. It is a terrific glove!

Does hand orientation mean whether my husband it right or left handed or does it mean which hand i want to purchase. He is right handed.

If he is right handed, then buy the left handed glove. This way he can grip the fish with his left hand while maneuvering hook removal and such with his right hand. I purchased the left glove for both my husband and son who are right handed and they absolutely love it.

Can you operate the touchscreen on your phone while wesring these?

I can't...they are pretty thick...for good reason. They are great for keeping my hands fin and cut free.
