Women Renaissance Blouse Victorian Steampunk Pirate Shirt Off Shoulder Short Sleeve Smocked Blouse Tops

I ordered this for my local Ren Faire's Pirate Weekend and it was exactly what I needed! It can be styled as romantic, pirate, fantasy, anything you want! The only flaws are that the shoulders slip up easily during dancing, fencing, anything like that(but let's be honest, do any off-the-shoulders stay off the shoulders?), and that alone, the elastic can feel a little abrasive, but that was easily fixed by a bodice hugging it a little tighter to my skin. With a thin shirt underneath or anything like a bodice, corset, or any other tight over piece, it's quite comfortable and not too hot! It held up well for my single day of non-stop dancing and came out with no damage, and I don't expect it to decline quickly. It was far cheaper than anything else like this I could find, either online or in person, and so far it seems to be standing up to all expectations!

This is a great top for casual wear, parties, or RenFaires less concerned with accuracy. My daughters and I do medieval reenactment, and for that we wear shifts with a period design and natural fibers. I've worn this top with a long skirt, or even just with denim shorts. The gathering on the sleeves and middle are all elastic, but not too tight--I'm OK in the largest size, even though it might have been questionable according to the size chart. Fortunately since I have daughters in two different smaller sizes, I knew someone would be able to use it. They both liked the way it looked so much, I ordered more (and got myself a couple more, too). It's a comfortable synthetic fabric--not sleazy feeling, and no worries about wrinkles! I am happy to say the white isn't as see-through as I was afraid it would be, so perfectly fine on its own, doesn't need anything over it.

I ordered a large but it still feels a little small. It's very stretchy and airy though. I wish the red wine color was a little bit darker but it's still pretty.

I bought this for St. Paddy's Day 2022. For a one-time use, this will get the job done, but it looks cheap and I doubt it would last long after a few laundry cycles. Also, the green is not a vibrant emerald/kelly green as depicted in the picture; in my opinion, it's closer to avocado green (yellow undertone). The material is thin and has a microfiber feeling, which I don't mind. I'm in between a small and medium and went with medium (I'm narrow shouldered, 36 D, 28 waist, athletic)- M was a perfect fit... a S may have been on the snug side. I don't find this top to be "too short"; it was made to be worn off the shoulders, and when it's worn that way, the length is perfect. No problem for me with being too tight in the arms or waist. The bust area has enough room to where I don't feel packed in or constricted. If you're looking to cover your backside, this is definitely not the top for you.

Sizing was pretty accurate. Much more comfortable after its first trip though the washer and dryer. Very light-weight, works well as an under shirt as well as on its own. Purchased for a summer renaissance faire and it was very breathable. Also soaked up a good amount of moisture preventing sweat stains on my bodice.

Love the color. It fit well. Soft and light material.

Cute wench blouse - color was nice - just not on me so returned. But quality and fit was good especially for the price
