Plug it in and cry at what it finds that needs fixing. At first it was difficult to see the screen due to the tears and the need to sell a kidney to fix the car. It's easy to navigate and work and clear faults. This is our second one as the first didn't diagnose brake faults this sexy unit does. I have only used to analyse fault code and extinguish warning light thus far but easy to use and glad I purchased as my old one was damaged.

I can confirm that if you want to do your own rear Brake pad servicing this tool can wind in the rear electric parking brake and reapply when new pads fitted.I performed this on a VW Passat estate B7 2014 and it worked perfectly. Hope this helps anyone on the fence if this tool is worth a try.

Simple to use. Simply plug in and follow the on screen menu. I purchased to find out why my air bag light was on. Found the code within minutes, sorted the fault and cleared the code. The scanner also identified a faulty heater plug which did not throw up an engine management light. It’s a compact unit with a handy Cary case, so easy to store in the car.

Bought this to attempt to diagnose my car at home - it was displaying an error code "E0606 Module Processor" which refers to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) effectively the ECU.Took it to a garage to verify and they were able to diagnose the issue more accurately which was a faulty thermostat housing, nothing to do with the PCM / ECU so totally useless bit of kit.
