Excellent Food Slicer, Excellent Customer Service
For many years, I have been using 7.5in electric meat slicers that are less than 200W, made cheaply and constantly finding ways to repair them, but surprisingly, they did the job. Now with this 10in – 240W VEVOR Commercial Electric Slicer, slicing food and meat is a whole lot easier. At this point, I have sliced roast, homemade deli style meat, summer sausage, bacon and bread. This VEVOR slicer does a very good job. The only minor issues that I have is with cleanup. There is a spot where the food holder fastens to the sliding carriage that is a little hard to clean. The other issue deals with cleaning the cutting blade because you really need to remove the blade for it to be cleaned properly. The blade removal is a hassle in that you have to use a hex driver (that is not provided) to remove three screws that hold the blade in place. Also, handling the blade can be tricky, but it can be done. There are two tapped holes in the blade assembly that I put bolts (bolts not provided) into so I can handle the blade safely and easily. I was interested in seeing if there were any accessories or digital documents for this meat slicer, so I visited the VEVOR website. There were no accessories or documents. I contacted their customer service and they really provide service. They did not have any document on hand but they sent me a copy of the user’s manual, which they either scanned or had access to. It comes with a user’s manual, but I seem to misplace manuals all the time, so I try to digital copies of manuals on my PC. VEVOR customer service goes out of its way to help their customers. As far as price goes I got mine before they increased the price and got a deal. I got a feeling that they increased the price because of shipping costs for this heavy and large slicer. I did notice VEVOR website gives a price break for registering the product, when it is purchased from them directly. Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted: ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Worth every Penny
I bought this unit for my Adult Son who asked me to post his review for this unit: I rarely give reviews, and when I do my feedback tends to be completely negative. Having said that, I cannot give this unit Higher praise. I researched over 200 different makes and models before I settled on this unit and I am very glad I picked it. First let me say that I saw many complaints that this unit was a pain in the butt to clean. It probably has something to do with the fact that it's a Meat Slicer, and not a Toaster. I would be surprised to find any Meat Slicer that IS easy to clean, but as far as these types of devices go, this one is actually easier than most. The spin knob on the front of the slicing arm makes it easy to remove (Unlike a sample model of a different brand I saw on display at Costco, but more on that later). Yes, you need allen wrenches (Not Included) to remove and wash the blade (heavy and SHARP!). I found an old set that I rarely use and just keep it with the unit. Once I get the blade off, yes, there are little bits of meat all over. Again, it's a MEAT SLICER! If you don't expect to spend 20 minutes cleaning it up when you're done, I'm sorry but your expectations are just wrong for this kind of device. I have found the overall quality and use of this unit to be excellent so far. I primarily bought it to make my own lower salt lunch meats, and I have sliced (thin) tri-tip, pork roast and roast turkey. The slices are perfect and consistent every single slice, either thick slices, or so thin you can almost read through them. The unit has an adjustable support to keep the slicing tray perfectly level while you slice. The blade is not the largest available, but more than sufficient for anything a home user could want. The safety features are very good for this type of unit, and make it virtually impossible to cut anyone as long as best practices are used. The build quality of this is great, Mostly real metal, barely any plastic. The built in sharpener takes some getting used to, but I had it working in no time and it sharpens well. Earlier I was referring to an experience I had at Costco the other day when I saw their equivalent unit, which cost almost $1,000. While it did have a slightly larger blade, the movement of the sliding slicing tray was jerky and odd compared to the wonderfully smooth motion of this unit. The build quality was a lot of plastic and seemed way flimsier. It also didn't have the ability to remove the slicing arm to clean, which is just the twist of a knob on this one. I have to say that seeing that model in their store is what inspired this review. This unit is well worth the price.

Highly Recommended Slicer
I had previously purchased the OSTBA 200W deli meat slicer. It is effective but pretty much an entry level product. The seated blade sometimes shreds the meat unless o make the slices thicker. For the price, it is worth it. The Vevor 10", 240 W slicer is about $150 more than the OSTBA but, if you can afford it, is worth every penny. Other units at this level were another $100 on top of that so the Vevor is a bargain, comparatively. It's a very solid unit with a beautifully sharp blade and include a self sharpening attachment. The difference is night and day. You get what you pay for and you get a lot with this unit.

The ONLY VEGAN REVIEW? Homestead use. WHATS THAT SMELL? This baby slices ALL KINDS OF STUFF!
100% ZERO CROSS CONTAMINATION ON MY MACHINE! You're probably wondering why a vegan would buy a meat slicer. I have 200 fruit trees. Carrying in commercial sized wheelbarrows of fruit to be processed is an eye opener. The idea of hand slicing all the stuff we process daily... JUST NO. I bought this slicer for this week's haul of FUYU PERSIMMONS. Fuyu's aren't those little scrawny American persimmons that you make pudding from! These babies are the size of a large apple! (Sooooooooooooooooooooooo Goooood) This slicer can make the slices so thin, that they really don't do well in the dehydrator. I recommend you bump it up to 2.5 for sliced fruit like apples, pears, and Fuyu Persimmons. Then they turn out PERFECT! I smother mine with cinnamon, add a touch of nutmeg, clove, and maybe even a touch of Caroline Reeper chile powder, and they are some of the most addictive snacks on Earth! We also made some with Tajin that were tasty. It slices through TWO large Fuyu Persimmons (probably would for any fruit) with ease. That is to say it will both HOLD and SLICE two fruit at same time. Cutting your speed up, and your time down. The smaller machines won't do that. The #1 reason i bought THIS machine, and not another, is this is the cheapest machine with a metal feed. I HATE PLASTIC! I also like the shape of the feed, as well as where the spikes are ON that feed. Some more expensive models had bigger spikes and less of them, I like the slightly smaller spikes and the layout of them. The feed is both 100% safe, and 100% effective. The machine is built like a BEAST! Its HEAVY, STURDY, and POWERFUL. Now I'm not some guy who owns a restaurant and is comparing this machine to one that costs 10 times more. I'm just a homesteader. I have no prior experience using one of these. But I read reviews of cheaper machines being flimsy and wobbly, and moving around on the table, and I'm not playing that game with something that can slice my finger off. NO, it has to be sturdy! This machine is positively sturdy! It also looks amazing in my commercial kitchen with all restaurant prep tables etc. I'm sure it helps the sturdiness that its sitting on a stainless-steel restaurant prep table that weighs about 800 pounds. I've also sliced onions, bread, sweet potatoes, and beets so far, and it did all of them with ease. I made sweet potato slices that were nearly paper thin! My onion slices came out paper thin, and caramelized so quickly!!! (more on that later) Again I read reviews of cheaper machines struggling to slice through sweet potatoes, and this Vevor does it with ease. I trust Vevor. I recently bought greenhouse film, hoop house wiggle wire and wiggle-wire framing through Vevor, as well as the LED fireplace on my wall is Vevor. Theres so much Vevor in my shop, and none of it has ever gave me any problems. So brand confidence earned! I subtracted one star, because the motor smells like its burning. I tried contacting Vevor (good luck with that! Their customer service IS POOR!!) and I tried forums and read the entire manual through twice. No where does it say if that burning smell is normal. ITS NOT GOING AWAY. Should I expect problems? No one will tell me. Time will tell. Just know so far, it's still working and it still smells like burning motor/electronics frying. I don't care, as long as it continues to work. It can stink like that forever for all I care, as long as it keeps working. I'm not that hard to please. Another perk to buying this machine over a cheaper one is that THANKFULLY, there is no Child Safety Lock to struggle with. Again, I read reviews of cheaper machines and cumbersome locks. It's a personal grievance when an appliance makes me jump through additional hoops to access my gear. I'm ok with the option, as long as it can be defeated permanently. Most however, don't give that option, and you're fighting with a frustrating button system to protect children that will never have access to the machine in the first place. (Like my instant hot water dispenser). For those of us without small children, it's just another unnecessary frustration. The STOP power button on this Vevor is raised up more than the START button, for easier access in case of an emergency. That's all the safety I need. ALL IN ALL, it's a great slicer. I'm happy. I'm also happy that I can retire the bamboo bread slice thing as well as the electric "turkey slicing knife" in leu of this machine, for not only BETTER sliced bread, but for a more uniformed sliced bread. Plus my bamboo slicing cage held crumbs, which could attract mice. I haven't bought store bought bread in years, and making my own literally paid for this machine in under a year. 87 cents a loaf for REAL BREAD with 6 organic ingredients! Plus the smell of baking it... Just buy this slicer. It's not a meat slicer. It's a fruit and veggie and bread slicer. But you do you. CONS: After slicing the onions, there's no way to EASILY clean the machine without removing the blades, so I'm still working that out. The batch of Persimmons after the onions smelled like onion persimmons. Cinnamon cured the problem. Also, the persimmons get caught in the corner at the bottom, and I often have to turn the size dial to full open to retrieve them safely. That's a flaw. Also, I wish the power button was easier to access. It should be on the front, but that's my opinion. Not a big deal. It's a solid machine and I'm really glad I bought it.

Razor sharp home slice
Very well made, easy to use and easy to clean. The built-in blade sharpener is an excellent addition. This machine is a workhorse. Having this slicer saves money, I can make roast beef, turkey, brisket etc at less than half the cost of buying coldcuts at the store, even buying cooked meats and cheeses in bulk is half the price of deli sliced supermarket goods. It is also great for slicing veggies, tomato slices you can see through and onions cut so fast you dont cry. A good safety tip is order some cut-resistant gloves too so when you wash the blade you have some protection.

Built like Battleship
Wow! I had purchased one of the less expensive meat slicers a few years ago and it has worn itself out and I wanted to replace it with something that would be better at slicing semi frozen meat to make jerky. The thing is as heavy as a battleship and works like millions of dollar sewing machine. The thickness selector gives you a consistent thickness on each and every cut. The machine effortlessly cuts through meat and what used to take 15 to 20 minutes takes less than 5 minutes. This slicer is built like a battleship with Lexus reliability.

No replacement blades
Decent machine, but be careful if you need replacement parts. I have used both machines advertised here. Both the manual one and the fully automatic. I need a replacement blade. I contacted customer service, they made me prove that I purchased a machine before they would even answer a question. Once I provided them the proof they told me they didn't know if there were replacement blades or not. The answer had poor grammar and broken English. I assumed English was not their first language and there could be a misunderstanding so I asked it again. Again they told me they did not know about replacement parts. I pushed again. They said they contacted their supplier and the supplier stated replacement blades could be purchased online. I let them know I could not find a replacement and asked them to please provide a model number or specific information to replace it. I let them know there are a lot of replacement blades that looks similar but none of them say they are compatible with their machine. They said they just don't know. I've asked this question five times in five different ways. Every answer is they cannot assist with replacement parts and don't know if there's a blade to replace it. If your machine works perfectly and never has problems it's a good value. If you buy a $1,300 machine and need areplacement blade at some point you are in trouble. God forbid there is any other damage to the machine. I would caution anybody against buying the automatic version. If there's a problem, you will struggle to get it fixed. On the cheaper $300 model it's less of an issue, as you can throw it away and buy another one. The $1300 model is a whole different story.

I love this meat slicer!
I absolutely love this product. It's easy to use and has great safety features. It cuts amazing and is very durable. The blade is a perfect size. It is a little tough to clean but not impossible. Thankfully there's videos posted that you can watch that guide you through the process.
