one of the best glue traps, both for effectiveness and value.
I have purchased several different traps/glue boards. these are easily the best "bang for your buck", both in effectiveness and cost.We have used them all around the house, and they catch everything that crawls. didnt know we had small scorpions in the house, now we know. incredibly sticky, but have a small area on the side and end you hold on to, to keep your hands off the sticky part. bigger than a lot of trap boards( bigger than all I have tried anyway ), and you get 12, instead of the usual 6-8.Yes, they are incredibly sticky, DONT drop them face down, you WILL regret it. but, thats why you BOUGHT them.If you have any kind of bug, they are stuck. this has no scent, but will catch anything that crawls.just put them in corners, under fridge, under dryer, entrance to a bedroom ( out of the way ), right along the wall edge is best.Have had a lot of success getting lil critters who managed to work themselves into the house. multiple repeat customer, use these at our beach condo as well.

The Best Mouse Trap EVER
The ALAZCO Glue Trap is seriously the most effective and best trap I ever used! I caught 3 mice in just 12 hours of using this trap. It is so easy, just peel off the paper and put the flat trap anywhere on the floor where mice travels. I cut mine in half before peeling the paper off the glue and I got 2 mice on this half board in just hours of using. I set mine just before going to bed and I wake up with mice in the trap. I used the wooden spring trap, which did not work, I used the other glue traps but of no use... The ALAZCO Glue Trap is ultra thin so mice just walk on it and never leave the board. I just leave the trap like a piece of paper on the floor, flat - do not make a box or a cylinder out of the trap, it is not as effective - just lay if flat on the floor and you will be amazed.

Works Great, But Is it "humane"?, Read on..
These do work very well and capture all kinds of bugs, spiders and even garter snakes. While I understand the desire for some to be humane about this type of pest control, I feel obligated to point out that this is not marketed as a catch and release product. It is designed to exterminate, not temporarily detain. If you don't agree with the core concept of this type of product, then don't buy it and complain about it doing what it is designed and described to do. Sentient life forms should not be mistreated, I get that, but to personify potentially destructive insects and others as having human feelings and rights seems misguided. For example, termites are generally exterminated, not caught and released. Roaches and various rodents are proven disease carriers and as such can be a threat to (actual) humans. Perhaps I'm misguided but placing undue concern for the humane treatment of disease carrying pests over human health is not logical nor practical.

Very adhesive, works quickly.
Works very well with a small bit of peanut butter placed in the center. These can also be rolled up into a “tunnel” a placed along a wall, between small areas, etc. I also left a few just flat. The edges aren’t sticky so I did see a mouse run along the wall but it didn’t get trapped bc it ran along the non-adhesive area. I did end up catching the mouse within 1-2 days.On another note, this is believed to not be the most humane way to catch mice. Be prepared for the mouse to still be alive when you find it trapped (or sometimes, the mouse will gnaw off its leg in order to set itself free). When there was a mouse attached, I picked up the trap with a plastic bag and took it outside. I was advised to kill the mouse with something so that it wouldn’t have to die slowly. But it’s not easy to do that when you hear it squeaking... I would also recommend Tom Cat traps to get the job done faster.

Scary good for arachnophobics! Inhumane for animals IMO.
I live in a older house built around 1969, it's a nice home but not built to the tight standards of modern houses and as a result A lot of bugs including spiders get in compared to our new vacation home. I have a real problem with spiders and for me the minor cost of these glue traps & the time it takes to set them around is well worth The reward of not pulling back my covers on the bed and finding a spider.I've used several different brands and styles of glue traps through the years and found these to be the best at any price. The glue is applied liberally and continuously on the interior surface and these don't collect debris like the open tray style.Because they are rectangular in shape they can be put on edge in a tight space or laid flat.I put them all over, under my bed against the wall, nearby the doggie doors,in the closets and behind furniture.I can't speak to how well they capture my mice, we don't have that issue but I can attest to their being extremely effective in capturing insects.I'm guessing to capture small rodents like mice you would leave them open/flat? If I did have a mouse issue I wouldn't use a glue trap because I wouldn't want to cause unnecessary suffering, I'd use a good quality conventional trap and end it swiftly. Just how I am but these are excellent for bugs!I'm not associated with this product.I received nothing in return for my review.I highly recommend this product especially for people that hate spiders like me.

Actually works, unlike what I got from Home Depot!
Got these after the lame Home Depot glue traps failed to trap anything larger than a gnat. These work marvelously. They're as strong as the ones I used to get from Orkin. One additional use of these is to trap flies, which I didn't know until after I made the purchase. Let me tell you, flies don't stand a chance if they have the misfortune to land on one of these. I hung a strip outside near my smoker on a day I was smoking a pork butt, as the fragrant aroma of smoked meat tends to attract houseflies from miles around. I checked a few hours later and about a dozen flies were hopefully stuck to the trap! IT WAS AWESOME. So yeah, no more Home Depot for me when it comes to these. Just be careful of pets because they get curious and might make a mess of the glue!
