Enough storage space for lots of movies.
I decided on this Sony 32gb Class 10 Micro SDHC after reading reviews and stats from many makers of sd cards. My need is for maxing my storage on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 I purchased last year. The tablet accepts an SDXC, but found out they probably would not be utilized to their maximum capacity and the extra cost was not worth it. My goal is to store and watch movies, having as many as possible on hand to fit my fickle moods and not have to reload too often. Though I've been using 16gb cards (have 2 or 3 of them), my laziness prompted me to try larger storage. Over the years I've tried to stay close to SanDisk, but occasionally have used other brands and come to expect a slower speed for transfers. The Sony stats convinced me to give it a try. Also, if the tablet would handle more than 32 gb, this review would be for the 64 or larger card. As it is, I choose a less-then highest quality setting when copying my DVD movies in order to hold more and this tablet has such good quality that higher levels are not necessary.Anyway, back to the product. I slipped it into the tablet, connected it to my laptop which was also connected to my large capacity external hard drive (where I store the movies) and began transfer. Wow. Fast. No formatting needed! After viewing part of the first few and seeing the same quality as the original copies, I transferred a total of 9 movies and 5 Youtube videos in a very short period of time. I still have over 16gb left to add another 10 or more. The card reads having 29.49gb available at start. This all means it will be a while before I'll need to re-load with all the standby movies my little heart desires. And when I do, it won't take long. As for endurance, it is still new, but if it suddenly dies or something, I'll certainly update my opinion. For now, I feel that I got a super deal through Amazon and Beach Camera, matching my needs with my wallet and leaving me a satisfied customer. The speed along with the present quality exceeded my expectations. Hope this helps your decision.

Just got it
I just received it in the mail so far it does everything it says but I wont really notice a difference till I get my galaxy s4, I have it in my cheap messaging phone for right now till I get my new one but its compatible. I wont really notice a difference in performance until I get the new phone, so far it works as intended out of the box. Also this qualifies for super saver shipping which I was a little reluctant about but I figured why not. I ordered it over a week before hand so that I'd have this in the mail for when I got paid I could use this with my galaxy s4 on payday but it arrived earlier than expected (which is definitely a plus for me I hate waiting for shipping after I pay for something) Anyway shipping was free I ordered it Monday night and I got it on Friday at 3pm which was a huge surprise for me, so it showed up way earlier than expected considering the estimated shipping time is 5-8 days and It got to me in about 3 days because I dont really count Monday because it was too late for them to prepare the item for shipping. Anyway as far as the item goes, it works as intended and Amazon is probably the only site I actually order certain items online from, i'd rather order quality items for less and wait for them and be more happy overall versus going into a store and just being limited to what that store has in stock.tl;dr Fast shipping(super saving shipping)item works as intendedgreat product, Amazon rocks!

Worked fine, and then suddenly stopped, and Sony replaced it...replacement died
This card worked beautifully for 9 weeks, during which I accessed the card about once every couple of days. I had purchased it for my phone to store photos and music. This morning when I woke up the phone requested that I put in a card, and claimed the current one was unmounted. Seemed odd. I rebooted the phone twice, and it still couldn't read the card. I took the card out and put it back in, still no luck. I put in a different card that we had in the house for something else and sure enough the phone read it just fine. I put the Sony card back in since I know the device was working fine and it still wouldn't read it. I tried to read the card on my computer and the computer will not identify that there is a card.I understand that it is rare for a card to die like this. I've had many SD and micro SD cards over the years and this is the only one it has happened to. I would normally think I just happened to get a random flawed card but another reviewer seems to have had the same problem I have had. Maybe it is a fluke that the same thing happened to two people. I would encourage any buyer to read the reviews to see if this is a trend with phones and this card.*UPDATE 1* I called Sony's customer service and got a very helpful associate. The associate is having me ship the card to Sony's repair department to see what is wrong with the card. I will post an update once the repair department gets back to me.*UPDATE 2* I have increased the rating from 1 star to 4 stars because of Sony's response to the defective card. This afternoon I received a replacement card from Sony. It's a new card in its original packaging. I will see how this one holds up and change the rating accordingly. Sony's customer service was very good for this product. I was told it would take 10 to 14 days after they receive it to find out what the next course of action was. A new one was shipped out 13 days after they had received the defective one.*UPDATE 3* 8/20/14 The replacement card which was not used in a phone this time died. It was used a handful of times. This evening I put the card in the card adapter and the card wouldn't read. The card also go very hot in a span of 2 minutes. We tried a different adapter and the same thing happened. I've reduced the rating back down to a 1 because I have now had 2 cards that have failed after minimal use.
