LOVE THIS STEAMER!
I love this 3 quart steamer. I've never been one to steam food but so far, I've used this for several days and it’s great. The food comes out wonderfully cooked, not overdone (as long as you watch the food) and dinner is done in minutes, not to mention healthier. The steamer is lightweight (a positive if you have arthritis) but don't let that fool you, it cooks great! The steamer basket is deep and it’s the perfect size for one to three portions. I love the amount of space the bottom provides for the water below and don't have to worry about too much or too little water. Being a novice at steaming, I had to go online to learn to basically educated myself about steaming. Depending on what you are preparing, the time consumption is in preparing the foods. After my first use and when I washed it the first time, I found a hint of food stains. That was corrected with a little Soft Scrub and a sponge. After that, I spray a thin film of cooking oil in the steamer basket so that foods don’t stick at first. I also found out that foods should be seasoned (salt, pepper, dry seasonings, liquids, etc.) after they are removed from the steamer. Having read other somewhat negative reviews, I find that it cleans very easily It’s stainless steel and if properly cared for, does not rust and retains its luster. The bottom of the steamer is great for cooking soups or anything else you need a little larger pan than a one quart. The descriptions on the amazon page are spot on. I am so very glad I purchased this 3 qt. steamer. Happy Eating!

This Steamer is Perfection
This steamer exceeded my expectations. It’s not too small and it’s not too big. It’s cute, lightweight in size, easily portable, very easy to clean and sturdy. It’s a very quality product. It’s a two-thumbs up from me.

It is functional and of good quality
I was looking for a steamer to make my baby's food, and this one was the best choice. It's perfect for what I need. It's very good quality; I use it almost daily and haven't had any problems. It's easy to wash and very heat-resistant. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good design and inexpensive
I really like the size, design and the utility of this product. However, the pots are made of thin metal, not sure how much of stainless steel it contains. Magnets barely stick to the pot, they don’t stick to the bottom of the main pot nor to the handles. And the handles get pretty hot. I guess you can’t ask for a better quality for the price.

Good quality
Well made. Wanted to start cooking healthier so bought this steamer. Steamed broccoli in about 8 minutes with no issues. No discoloration after first use and cleaned up effortlessly. Look forward to using more. Looks and feels of good quality should last. Held two heads of broccoli with room to spare so seems to be the perfect size.

Nice steamer.
I didn’t know what to expect for size even after looking at my other pot sizes, my brain just wasn’t in it. This is what I would call a medium size, it’s definitely big enough for a lot of steaming needs. It even seems bigger than other single item steamers I’ve seen. I wanted something a little bigger to fit a specific warming pad that I wanted to try steaming to heat. I haven’t used it for that yet but I have used it to reheat food and to steam green beans. It works really well for its intended purpose.

Very light, almost feels cheap.
I just received it today so I can only write about today's use. The Oster box that it was in was damaged, possibly a return, but it did not appear the pot/steamer had been used. 1st thought out of box and while giving it the initial wash is this steamer is very light, feels very cheap and something seems off on the silver finish like its painted or sprayed on and not stainless, this has me a bit concerned. I hand washed & dried the pot, steamer basket & glass lid and used it immediatly to steam broccoli, it worked as expected. The pot & steamer baskets handles got extremely hot while on stove so use pot holders, the glass lid's handle remained touchable. I like it well enough so far but with usage I'll be able to give a better review. Its size is good and can fit a good amount inside the steamer basket, I'd think the pot would be usable for cooking soups, stock, etc too but I litterally needed this for steaming so Im planning on using just for that. After I used it to steam the broccoli I let it cool completely then hand washed it, the steamer basket washed easily w/no stuck broccoli. The pot also washed easily BUT there were a lot of dots stained into the bottom in outer area of bottom, don't understand why boiling water would cause that in one use and Im thinking this too is a sign of its cheapness.

Steams Veggies to Perfection
I love this pot. Its small and doesn't take up much room, especially since it stores stacked. I was looking to prep healthier meals and was glad to find this item. I'm able to cook rice, mung beans, lentils, and other grains while steaming veggies to perfection. I've used it over 20 times and it still looks in good shape.
