Excellent tripod – light, sturdy, stylish, and perfect for on-the-go shooting
I recently purchased this tripod, and after using it on a shoot for a magazine article I’m working on, I’m genuinely impressed. The size and weight are spot on – light enough to strap to my rucksack without noticing it, yet sturdy enough that it never wobbled, even in breezy conditions. The carbon fibre legs give it that ideal balance of portability and real stability. Setup is quick and straightforward. The twist locks are smooth, the legs extend cleanly, and it’s ready to go in seconds – exactly what you want when shooting on the move. The fluid head deserves special mention. Panning is super smooth, tilt control is precise, and it makes shooting video a pleasure. The head is also removable, giving you the option to swap to a ball head if you prefer, which adds a nice bit of flexibility. In use, it feels extremely stable. Even with heavier camera setups, it never once felt like it was struggling. I also really like the design. K&F have produced a visually striking tripod without compromising function, which is rare at this price point. Overall, there is a lot of tripod here for the money. Lightweight, strong, fast to set up, great for both video and stills, and incredibly convenient for travel and hiking. K&F have scored again with this one, and it comes highly recommended.

A great travelling / hiking tripod
I’ve had this for a few weeks and have used it on a couple of hill walks in the Peak District. The tripod is really light yet sturdy and so make it ideal for strapping onto my backpack. The only issue I’ve had (and it’s minor) is that one of the feet nearly came off - it has unscrewed without my knowledge and might have dropped off had I not noticed. I’ll probably hit it with some Loctite to stop it happening again. Overall, highly recommended - I really like K&F products and this is another great item

Quality travel tripod
First impression out of the box, this is very good looking tripod, with nice orange accents. But it is not all about looks so how does it function. Supplied with a good quality case, shoulder strap and additional mount for phone (which can also be used on a camera). The tripod functions like most these days, the twist locking mechanisms on the legs work well and secure the legs firmly in place when fully extended, or any other height combination required. The smallest leg section when at full extension will get you out of a jam, but there is some flex, especially if the legs are at the maximum angle/span, so maybe not use this for long exposures/windy locations. Personally I will probably leave them left in, unless desperate, and just have the tripod at a lower but more stable height. I like to work at low level when using travel tripods for maximum stability, unfortunately it does not have an additional small/3 inch low level column so the center column needs to be extended, but with 2 leg extensions on each leg set at the maximum low level position it provides a good solid base for a DSLR and Filter system. This is not a deal breaker but would have been a nice addition. The head itself is a typical ball type, fully adjustable, and it seems well made and secures a DSLR and small zoom/standard lens combo firmly in place at any angle. The overall unit weight itself was 1400g, so ever so slightly over the advertised weight on my scales. It is 400g lighter than an aluminium travel tripod I have and the difference is noticeable. That said I am yet to try it in a backpack but I am wondering if I should have gotten the lighter version again (1000g). Time will tell. So first impressions are this is a very good looking, solid, stable, good value multi functional travel tripod. I am very happy with the purchase at this point and would definitely recommend this K&F product and the K&F brand as a whole. I will post an updated review when I have had the opportunity to travel with the tripod and use it fully when out and about.

Fantastic quality
Best tripod I've used in years... lightweight compact, easy to use. Best tripod on the market for the price point. Wouldn't use any other than K&F all their products are exceptional.

Amazing little tripod.
Amazing little tripod for the money. Yes it is not as large or robust as the more expensive alternatives but it's size and weight make it ideal for those places you just can't get the bigger tripods. And it is much easier to carry around with its own bag. The addition of the smart phone adapter is brilliant and the colours make it a good choice for Sony camera enthusiasts.

Very light and quite stable but with some drawbacks
Really lightweight and stable enough, allowing for the size and weight. Very small when collapsed and easy to put up to full height. The twist lock legs work ok but one or two of the coverings on the sleeves already starting to become detached making it difficult to twist very tightly (but still tight enough to lock the legs). Personally I found the ball head difficult to use with my equipment. Even with a little lubrication it is not very smooth. On tightening either the head or the horizontal swivel the position would move slightly, changing the framing of a shot and making further adjustment necessary. After testing it thoroughly in the field I decided to return this item and order a similar tripod with a pan and tilt head.

Well made tripod and very light
The tripod is light and very sturdy for the weight. The head seems good quality. I use it with my Skywatcher AZ-GTi WiFi GOTO AZ and 127mm MAK and it handles the weight fine. Also more than capable of taking my DSLR with 400mm lens. The bright orange accents aren't very stealthy, but this is not an issue for me and actually helps at night when using with the telescope.

Light but flimsy, I returned this item.
I purchased this tripod to use when travelling, where the cost for a Carbon Fibre tripod compared to others on the market was very attractive I have a more heavy duty K&F Concept tripod I use, and am very happy with it but it's cumbersome for travel. I was excited to use this one on a big trip to the US. I packed very easily and is super light - however, the way the legs unscrew to extend was a problem, where there is no stopper to maximise the leg extension, so the legs would often unscrew and fall off. Disappointingly, whilst hiking, two of the legs came loose and now live somewhere in Yosemite National Park. I tried contacting K&F directly who were very difficult to reach and communicate with - but thankfully Amazon helped and provide a full refund for the item. One star for the product but five stars for the Amazon customer service.
