Does this fit with the previous released Hogwarts sets (recent release) or have they started again & this will be the new style?

Yes this fits with the existing HP lego sets. My son has most of them now!

What does 'reduced packaging' mean? Is it the amazon packaging that is reduced or the lego box itself?

I didn't buy this in reduced package but did it in other set. The other set came with the original Lego package ever it claimed it should be in reduced package so I can't tell what exactly it will be.

Is this shipped in Amazon packaging or just the product box?

Amazon will provide a carton to protect the original Lego box
