I bought 3 of these on September 2, 2019. The day of me writing this review is November 4, 2019.I have had nothing but issues with these cables. Sometimes they will display sometimes they won't. At first I thought it was a issues with my graphics card, so I used them on another computer and after a day or so the issues continued to happen. But that's not the worst part believe it or not.....Two months into owning these cables and 2 out of 3 have just flat out stopped working. No reason what so ever. One day they worked shut my computer off for the day, came back the next day turned my computer back on only to find one of the cables isn't displaying any more. I have plugged these two cables that have stopped working into 4 different computers with no luck. I have also tried USB adapters and such with no luck as well...... BUT WAIT..... THERE'S MORE!!!!About a week ago I sent the seller a email which is when the first cable went, and well I'm sure you can guess what I'm about to say... Seller has yet to respond. I have sent them 4 different emails (not including the first one) over the course of a week asking for replacements of the cables as they are only 2 months old. They have yet to respond... Go figure. The last email sent was a few minutes before writing this review.Now as a business owner myself with over 200 employees, I can tell you first hand if I found out one of my customers was flat out ignored no matter the reason, every employee who I find came in contact with that support ticket would be fired on the spot no questions asked. So I'm a little confused as to how a business can get away with this and still be in business...... Anyways Save your money time and energy and simply buy a different brand all together!

If you use a Display to Display or HDMI to HDMI cable you will get the proper picture from your monitor. I got this because both of my monitors are HDMI only and the GTX 1660 only has one HDMI port, so I got this for my second display. The sharpness is still there but the colors aren't as good and instead of getting the full 75Hz from my second monitor I only get 60Hz. It will do the job however if you aren't too worried about those two things, just keep them in mind.

I don't know why Amazon is asking me how many stars I would give this on sheerness. It's just a wire and I don't look at it thinking about how sheer it is. It looks fine.I was pretty bummed when I used this on my Thinkpad W520 laptop and it wasn't sending out any sound. It might be something with my laptop. I went through every setting I could find and there did not seem to be any way to set it to send the audio out through the wire. Because, of course, I am connecting a laptop to a television so I can make the image and audio bigger... but it really kills the experience when you have a big picture attached to laptop speakers. So, I now I'm using an external set of speakers laying next to the laptop/TV which is not the most ideal situation for what I was hoping for and thus the reason I knocked a star.It is possible this won't happen to you but I can imagine that with all the various types of computers and laptops out there that you might be taking a gamble when you but this and end up in the same situation as me. So, it seems worth knowing before you buy.

The listing could be done better. When I tried to hook them up and they didn't work I thought I had a bad cable then I checked the other one and I got the same no signal message on my monitor. I re-read the description a 2nd time and still missed that this ONLY works if the source is coming from the DisplayPort until I read some of the reviews. The listing could be updated to show this better. I guess that is what I get for using the amazon app on my phone.

I miss my family, but at least I can use my old monitors for my computer. Pictures pretty good. 123/138, would DP again.
