Bose Soundlink Mini II Special Edition (Black)

My daily dose of podcasts and music around the house speaker.We have a three bedroom house and I can hear this speaker no matter where I am. It’s clear and has that bass that makes the difference.

Five stars for the speaker! It's easy to make connections. The playback has a "full" room filling sound and is awesome. What is not so awesome is that the speaker was advertised as new, but, is not. Registering the product with Bose results in a "warranty expired" status. :( That said, we are keeping it as it is a great speaker.

Amazing sound quality and can be loud with no distortion.

Bose knows. This speaker connects instantly—will connect to mine and my husband’s phones at the same time and whoever presses play wins. We take it outside to grill, play it when cooking or cleaning inside. Its a great little speaker!

My only complaint with this speaker is the Bluetooth connectivity. Sometimes it will say it is connected to my iPhone, but I have to dink around with it to get it to play. Other phones that were previously connected to it will sometimes connect when they’re nearby and it disconnects my phone. Other than that the sound quality and battery life are fantastic. I purchased one for a colleague after having mine for about 6 months and she LOVES hers also. Thanks!

The only complaint I have is the battery dies even if you don't use it. It also takes too long to charge for me. Maybe I am inpatient. The sound is exceptional and it connects easily to any blue tooth.

I have had a tremendous amount of respect for all of the Bose products that I have bought over the last 30-40 years. My first Bose purchase was for their Bose 501 Surround Sound Stereo Speakers and I was amazed at how fantastic the sound was from those speakers. My second Bose purchase was for a pair of Bose 201 bookshelf speakers, and they were also amazing. So, based on those experiences, I decided to order this Bose Soundlink Mini II Special Edition. It was a huge and disappointing mistake. I tried 3 different Mp3 players connected via a 3.5 m audio aux cable - cables that work 100 percent OKAY with other external mp3 player speakers - and NONE of these players produced any audio from this Bose Soundlink Mini II speaker. On top that, when I went on amazon to initiate a return - I was confronted with a totally insane screen that looked like this:Based on the condition of the item when we receive it, your return could be subject to:Restocking feePartial refundZero refundI spent almost a hour on the phone with Amazon customer service and they were trying to tell me that I had to upload a Official Govt ID to prove my identity or I would not get a full refund. Just today, I saw an article that said over 7 billion Social Security #'s have been hacked and stolen and I have personally been the victim of identity theft and have had to cancel my credit card number and get no fewer than nearly a dozen new credit card numbers over the last 10-12 years. So, I refused to comply with uploading a copy of my drivers license due to the fact that it HELPS dishonest hackers to compile information on people that can then be used to steal their identity - and I suspect that this attempt to demand this information is connected to a global wide criminal network who specialize in identity theft.
