Thanks for the feedback! I'm working on both issues, however, please note that the curved shape of the supporting arc allows the SpillNot to accommodate bowls that are larger in max diameter than the base, which is 4 inches. Thus, it can accommodate bowls with a max diameter of about 6 inches.

Has anyone tried using this while on crutches?

I don’t think you could use it while using two crutches. The black plastic part can’t knock against anything while you walk (or it destroys the physics magic), and I think it would knock on the crutches. I use crutches full time, and I only use the SpillNot when I’m using one crutch to walk and I use the other arm to carry.

What kind of batteries does it use?

It uses no batteries and requires no electrical power.
