Works As Described By The Makers
If you have the Hero 9 black and want to use the USB-C port while in operation this will work for you. It comes in a box which also fits the GoPro one you remove. Of course the camera is no longer water resistant when this cover is fitted. Getting the original cover off is not that easy and it has to be at the correct angle and you must pull in the correct direction. Use the new one and the basic instructions provided to achieve this. The USB socket is then exposed and can be used.

The 'door' is a perfect fit and useful when you wanted to do a continuous recording. No need to pause and change batter!

Good option to be able to charge while using GoPro.

This is probably the most useful accessory I own for my Hero9. Quite simply, it installed in seconds and it functions exactly as it says it does with über-easy access to the charging port. The lens cover is a bonus, but I find I now use it every time I finish using the camera and toss it back into the drawer. That was just a happy extra. The instructions on the Amazon Page helped me when I installed it the first time. The old battery cover came off easier-than-expected and the new one looks like a factory replacement... with a handy charging port. The happy benefit is that this is a must-have accessory if you are using your GoPro as a webcam these days.

Meiner Meinung nach ist die Gopro nur mit diesem Zubehörteil, voll funktionsfähig.

Uso GoPro da sempre e soprattutto la uso in maniera continuativa per molte ore e con l'adattatore per poter collegare un microfono esterno. In questo caso uno sportellino aftermarket come questo diventa di fondamentale importanza. Questo perchè permette di proteggere comunque la batteria lasciando però accessibile la porta USB-C. Ovviamente usando questo sportellino si perde completamente l'impermeabilità, ma si evita il rischio di perdere accidentalmente la batteria e che polvere e agenti atmosferici possano entrare nel vano batteria e in quello per la scheda micro SD. Per il poco che costa lo consiglio assolutamente.
