This stuff is great. I used it to paint a front splitter for a Camaro. Nice matte black that touches up extremely well. You cannot see touchups.... It wears great, touchups are for road rash. I have repaired the splitter a few times. This stuff blends right in with a new coat!

This paint is an excellent choice for refinishing black plastic bumper cladding on cars. Number one advantage over other blackening agents is that this SEM paint is permanent. It looks great too, just like it came from the factory.

I have a 1942 Plymouth. Original running boards were brown and faded badly. Previous owner had replaced one with a black one that looked great, but had painted the other one with some kind of rattle can. I've had the car 17 years and never got around to fixing the running board. I emailed customer service at SEM and even though they couldn't recommend their product for running boards (they could not guarantee durability) they were fabulous at responding to my questions. I purchased it anyway, sanded the old paint to rough it up to blend in all the bare spots, and put two coats on. It came out completely indistinguishable from the replaced running board. I mean to say it looks perfect! It's only been done for about three weeks so I can't say how durable it will be over the years, but it was so easy to apply that if I have to renew it in a couple of years I'll still be happy. And I have stood on it with my shoes and it has not scuffed up at all. If it will hold up on a bumper, I think it should hold up on a running board. And new running boards are $400.00 per pair.

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this product. It has a very nice finish to it that replicates what the factory would be. I have been using it to paint the interior of my jeep. I tried another cheap paint, and it looked greasy and "heavy" once it dried, and I didn't care for the finish at all. This here dries very nicely, lays down great and and extremely happy with the color. I only wish it wasn't so expensive, but after you see the results, the price is justified. Amazon is the cheapest place I was able to find it as well. In the box store in was $20, and the shipping at other sites were crazy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with faded plastic, looking to restore the factory appearance.

Nothing I can really say about this, it's a can of bumper coat, black, that is flexible. I've used this stuff for years on bumpers and it works great and holds up well. It really restores the look if you've got old, dull, scuffed up bumpers. SEM is a great brand and offer a wide variety of other paints you should check out as well.
