We got this for our five year old who had been using a friend's child's scooter and loving it.He loves this one EVEN. MORE.And I am definitely a convert to the brand! First, assembly is straightforward and easy. Instructions are easy to follow and all you have to do is exactly what you would have to do in order to unfold the scooter in the first place. It comes fully assembled - but it also comes with two hex screwdrivers just in case you need them to adjust anything. It doesn't require any charging or batteries, and the lights on the wheels work right out of the box. "Disassembly" (more accurately, breakdown so it can be folded up) is very easy and takes just seconds. I wouldn't recommend allowing a young child to fold it up or unfold it alone as it would be easy to get fingers pinched, but I would trust an older child to do so without hesitation. It takes little effort. The handlebars are comfortable, the grip on the main part of the scooter is stuck on very well and very grippy, and in general it is adorable AND strong (which is great, up against my rambunctious five year old and his three year old little brother that wants to play with it, too).What really got me, though, is what else is in the box. The instructions are on a flat single piece of paper that is about a quarter of a poster sized, all on one side of it. The back side of the paper is a color, labeled world map! And the instruction side clearly and plainly states that children may see people on TV or in pictures attempting tricks on scooters, but that the people performing them have practiced often and have a lot of experience. There are a lot of very "mom-like" reminders like that, friendly but straightforward.The BIGGEST thing that I love is that they include an insert that shows how to get a FREE child's helmet through the company to ensure your kiddo is safe while using their product.THAT is dedication.There were some small grammar errors and editing problems that were pretty glaring, which is really my only complaint, if you can even call it that.Great company, great product, I'm thrilled.

This was a gift for my 7 year old to move on up from her 3-wheeled scooter. She were happy to have faster scooter than her 3 wheeled one. Was very surprised at the quality of it. Super easy to open and set up. No tools needed.

We did a lot of research before purchasing this scooter. Now that we have it, we purchased a good one. We purchased two from the same company for two different aged granddaughters. This one was purchased for a 7 year old girl. The scooter came quickly, and was simple to put together. She went out with her sister going down the street laughing "let's get away from mom." She just loves how easy this was for her to glide, and the way this one allows her to make turns easily (unlike the one we purchased for her younger sister, which was more stable and does not turn as well). Both were good purchases for the ages we bought for. The colors light up on the wheels more the faster she goes.

My 10 year old daughter loved this birthday gift. The scooter's wheels will flash in the glide and slide beautifully in a dim place. The scooter can be folded up, does not take up space, it's easy to open and use. Scooter is flexible when gliding, and the bigger wheels make the ride much smoother on our bumpy sidewalks and driveway.
