Beautiful safety feature for our home :)
This rail is so well made! It is sturdy, looks great, and comes with instructions and necessary pieces to install. My husband had a few questions before purchase and reached out to CR Fence and they were super helpful. He is very impressed with this company. They responded quickly to his many questions and helped him specify the best unit to purchase. This adds so much safety to our home having a rail at the steps but I was especially pleased with how striking it looks and have had several compliments from others.

I'm buying another one.
This is a very cost effective, study, supposedly USA made railing. Nothing fancy here, just functionality. This comes with EVERYTHING you need to install except a drill and hammer and wrench. I installed into cement stairs. Pros: Sturdy, simple, easy to assemble, good instructions, all needed bolts for wood or masonry, drill bits for wood and masonry, ruler, pencil/depth gauge, etc. Cons: the drill bit for masonry, while included, is poor quality. I resorted to one of my Milwaukee masonry bits in 5/16 and it made drilling much more efficient and quick. I found the instructions for depth of hole in masonry short. I think you can go 2.75 inches, not 2.5. I had to cut my bolts down after even though I followed the drill depth as instructed. Don't follow the tip for putting nuts on the bolts when you hammer into cement, that just messed up the nuts and threads. The bolts are designed to take hammer whacks without peening over and if you drill proper hole size and depth you'll be fine That's my experience. Lesson learned: take your time, mark your holes BUT, decide which post you will put in first, drill those holes and mount your first upright, then reassemble and check your hole markings for last upright. I'll bet you will need to adjust hole markings to keep railings snug and tight on last upright. All in all I am buying at least one more, maybe two. Seems like a good company and a good product. Time will tell.

Rock solid, easy to install, and good-looking
I just finished installing on the three steps into the house from the garage. I must say that I am VERY impressed! This handrail is high quality, good looking, rock solid, and relatively easy to install. The hardest part was drilling eight holes in the 40 year-old concrete. The supplied bit with my regular drill wouldn't cut it - I had to buy a hammer drill, but then it was easy. But that isn't a flaw with this product. Several reviewers have mentioned having to drill 3/8" holes rather than the 5/16" holes that are supposed to fit the concrete anchors, but I didn't have that problem. The anchors were a tight fit, but no problem to hammer in. Now that I've seen how nice this is, I'm ordering another of these handrails for the steps leading up to my front door.

Well made, Excellent value, Easy to install
I received several quotes for a modest railing for my new deck steps ranging from $500 to over $1500 (not including installation!). This railing system is a great bargain in contrast to the overpriced alternatives. Pots and rails are made of steel with some rugged plastic connectors. I added an extension to the stair rail to connect it to the house and that also worked out well. Instructions are clear and well written and missed only having a detailed parts list. Parts provided include drill bits and a socket to secure the surface mount plates at the bottom of the posts. I did not give it the full five stars because I thought the lag bolts to secure the plates were too short so I replaced them with longer bolts. The result is a very study and pleasing installation. Great value, good design and good quality.

Sturdy and looks good. Adjustable angle
This is a high quality product. Used it for the garage which has 3 steps. holds strongly ( I screwed it into the wood steps) they give you everything you need, including an extension for the drill (which you will need as the floor bolts are close to the post and the drill bulk will be too close to the post without it. there are also concrete bolts and a mason bit included. WATCH the installation video. pretty simple but for those not familiar the brackets must be mounted a certain way. Only thig I changed was using my own drill bit for the screws as theirs will take longer to drill the holes. (not pre drilled because you can adjust the angle based on tread.and riser height) expected construction time is 60 minutes. I you are familiar with tools, make that 45.

Decent quality for the price
Pros: + Comes with everything you'll need to install it (except for a drill/driver). It even comes with a masonry drill bit and concrete anchors to install it on a concrete base. Even includes a level and sharpened pencil. I was surprised to see all of this included in the box. + Very well packaged, no damage + Seems sturdy enough. Solid cast iron would obviously be sturdier but also much, much more expensive. + The paint/coating on the external appears to be high quality as well + Fit and finish is better than I expected. No unnecessary gaps, all hardware color matches + Price is competitive + Super simple to assemble (install is another story - see Cons) Cons: + Insufficient instructions for a concrete install. Unless you are familiar with installing hardware directly to concrete you may need to do your own research. The only documentation/videos that exist only show how to install over wood. Installing on concrete is much more complicated and time consuming. I would recommend this product if you are looking for an attractive, reasonably sturdy railing. If you are deeply concerned about safety I'd recommend looking at cast iron but expect to pay 3-4 times more money. This railing works great for me, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Solid handrail
Easy installation and better materials than I was expecting. Nice and solid with all the tools needed, only suggestion I have is to have more concrete drill bits on hand, I went through 4 bits

Easy to assemble with clear instructions
My son-in-law put this together and mounted it. He said it was the most precise system he had ever seen. He said every part that was needed was there instructions were clear and anyone could put it up. Very good product.
