Awesome tent!!! Best car camping tent ever!!
I had heard great things about these tents and was gearing up for a long overlanding/carcamping trip so I got the RV-4.It is fast to set up and tear down and weatherproof so far. It is lots of mesh windows which is great for work weather and the seal up well for cold weather like the snow I was in this week. They are pricy, but after one week of camping it has paid for itself vs even a cheap motel. I love getting to use it. Its a great tent and worth every penny.

Cheaply made plastic parts on frame make it flimsy and impossible to fix
Update 06/17/2019: Jason Samphier from Oztent reached out to me about fixing my tent. They didn't cover it under warranty but they did help me figure out what parts to order.I had to buy extra pieces because in order to repair the original failure, I had to take other pieces apart to rebuild it. Unfortunately to do this you have to break more of the plastic connectors due to how they are press fit into the frame. Once I did that and drilled out the old plastic pieces I was able to repair the frame and the tent is back up and working again.Because I had to pay for the parts myself, Jason sent me a King Goanna HotSpot Chair and two chemical heat packs free of charge to compensate me for my time and the hassles.I can't trust the tent in winter but they made up for the initial lack of customer service. For that reason I've change my rating to 3 stars, since I can use the tent again for 3 out of 4 seasons and Jason went out of his way to try and help.Original review:Cheaply made plastic parts on frame make it flimsy and impossible to fixSo I have an Oztent RV-5 I bought online on 14-Feb-2018. Used it on a trip out west in the fall of 2018 and it set up quick and take down quick. I was concerned though because the frame felt really fragile. My fears were justified when I went camping in March of 2019. One of the plastic parts that slide and locks into place snapped off in the cold and caused another piece to snap as well. I contacted Family Tent Camping and they told me I was still under the 2 year warranty and to contact Oztent.I contracted Oztent and was told it was NOT a warranty issue but that the parts are cheap and easy to replace. They were correct on the "cheap" part, but they mean price and I mean quality.I tried to fix the frame but it's plastic and aluminum parts fitted in place and pressed together. You can not take it apart without risking breaking more pieces. See the attached pics.So the frame is junk and cannot be fixed if it breaks. I contacted them about replacing the entire frame (it just velcros into the tent to secure it) and am waiting to hear back.I don't blame the online site I bought the tent at for this. They assured me it's a warranty issue and I am still under warranty. Oztent just doesn't honor their warranty.

There was a serious issue
I bought the large Oztent as a companion to my travel trailer. I bought it at the beginning of the pandemic. I loved it with the exception of the aluminum struts across the floor. It is an internal aluminum cage overlayed with canvas. Yes, it was easy to set up and stake down. A complaint said that the J-clips slipped when wet, that wasn't true, I had the tent up in torrential rain, tent didn't leak and the j-clips were great. The bag it came in was a wrestling match everytime I put it away, I hated that. I was having another bag made when the tent failed, I understand there are some bags you can purchase on the aftermarket, they are expensive. So, this just wasn't me, everyone appears to have the same issue. After the Summer of 2020, I travelled from the Southern United States to Nevada. I was camping up in the mountains and I saw the forecast, winds 30 to 40 MPH winds. Before I bought the tent, I saw a video where a guy said that he was in 62 Mph winds and the tent held up. The tent failed on October 25th, less than 10 months after my purchase. The winds were sustained, (constant), didn't appear to be any gust or let up, constant pressure. All of a sudden there was a loud snap, immediately, followed by other loud snaps, the tent collapsed and an aluminum shard went through the back walk of the tent, tearing a long gash. The aluminum shattered. The next day, I took pictures and contacted Oztent. It took them seven weeks, (December 7th) to reply. I explained the same details as written here, I had sent in the warranty card and this was a structural failure (they could see on the photos). I kept the tent and offered to ship it to them for their inspection.Their judgement; they had no interest in seeing the tent and they denied warranty as it was weather related.I had told them as I relayed here, there was 40 Mph winds. However, I thought that the internal structure shattering was a defect. As I said, the tent was great, loved it until the catastrophic failure.I wouldn't spend another $1,000 on their product because of poor customer service and I thought that they should have been concerned enough to take a look at the tent.

Yep, it’s worth the money
Sets up just as quickly as described, heavy fabric, works perfectly.

It really does do everything they claim
This tent is everything they claim. It can be put up in 30 seconds and taken down in 30 seconds. The quality seems very good but I believe it will me.

Fantastic
Lived in this tent 33 days. Truly easy set up. 100% waterproof! And not too heavy for a 60 yr. old female.
