So my apartment has a roach problem and they seem to be most active in the kitchen at night. I decided to test the flashlight out while hunting them and to my surprise they didn't notice that a light was being shone on them making killing them in the dark much easier.

Best flashlight for such a good price. I used this for ROTC and everyone was jealous bc it was so amazing. Literally so bright and incredible quality.

Possibly even too bright, but you could mitigate that with some tissue, aluminum foil, or filter gel inside the lens. It worked very well for setting up my astronomy rig at a very dark site, as well as kind of a not-quite-laser pointer (for places that do prohibit lasers). Just for fun, it was able to clearly illuminate the top of a 250ft radio tower in the middle of a fog bank. This has definitely got a home in my astronomy kit.
