Your online business
If you want to start your own business online, while working a full-time job (or busy with other projects/ commitments) this book will give you the exact steps to follow. The book starts with a very important clarification - so many people fail, because they attempt to build a multi-million dollar empire right off the bat, without any proven plan or experience. Not only that- many people quit their secure employment (and income) to go for something that has less than 0.0001% chances of success. So, instead of following the old way which makes most new companies fail, the author offers a solution that can help you embrace both security and freedom. He offers many practical ideas to help people start a side business, and test/set-up businesses in a safe way, so that they can keep working full time or quit their job only when their business is successful and providing a steady income. With his approach - there's nothing to lose but a lot to gain if you're willing to work hard and smart. If you want to become an online entrepreneur- this book will help you. If you're already an entrepreneur, self-employed (like I am), this book will give you many ideas to improve your business or start a new one.Good time management/ productivity/ work organization tips + many interesting resources.

Ramesh Dontha's 'The 60 Minute Tech Startup' - I think it's a Winner
Ramesh Dontha's 'The 60 Minute Tech Startup' has the same easy flow as his original book 'The 60 Minute Startup'. I love the real-life examples that start each section, the guidance that forms the body and the wrap-up at the end that allows one to start thinking about and planning how to implement it for one's own tech Startup. The book itself is an easy read, so the bulk of the 60 minutes needed to be committed to each day can be easily spent on the thinking and design for one's own business, and the implementation of the ideas themselves... which is just as it should be. It's easy to get caught up in the learning and never getting to the implementation, something that Ramesh seems to anticipate and has designed the book to guard against.I found only a couple of places where I was looking for an app or SaaS that I like to use and didn't see it, but given that most of the popular ones are listed, it's a great collection and reference point. Plus, as you start looking up the sites suggested, and have the time, you are sure to find more. For a quick execution and start, I think the information given is a huge time saver and boost.Mr. Dontha, I think you have another winner in this book!

Important book for entrepreneurs!
This is one of the most helpful books I’ve ever read about hands-on creating a business. The author is clear, gives me an overview... and then shows the step-by-step path to make it successful. Simple. Results-driven.I’m an entrepreneur and inventor. I did not go to business school... I’ve been looking for a sensible, easy-to-follow guide to making a business plan that produces results. This is it.A friend of mine sent me some huge books about making business plans. Those books are so big and cumbersome that I just glance at them as I walk by my bookshelf and marvel at how much money it must have cost her to ship 20 pounds of books. Will I ever read them? Who knows? They are very intimidating. Then another friend mentioned The 60 Minute Tech Startup. I was able to download it to my Kindle and grasp the whole process in an evening. It also has a plan I can follow over the next 30 days to get my business up and running quickly in a stable, cash-producing way. (I’ve been trying to articulate that for myself over the past few months.) This book gave me an idea that never occurred to me before. It more than paid for itself in the first chapter. Excellent book.

Super practical advice with great, actionable guidance...
The idea of starting your own business in tech is a big idea that can get insanely complex really quickly, but Ramesh does a brilliant job of giving small, high-value steps to follow as you build your own business. His maniacal focus on value creation and getting the most out of small efforts is just the kind of learning we all need. Great stories bring the lessons to life. Highly recommend this book as a practical guide to doing something you can love and call your own.

A must read!!! Practical knowledge from true entrepreneurs
This book is a must-read book of business knowledge pulled from real life entrepreneurs in the technology space. Ramesh was able to pull out the experiences and translate them to readers in a way that adds value. Ramesh also managed to find unique people. He didn't rely on the standard set of tech names. He found new players in the field that fly below the mainstream radar but are making waves in their own right. Do yourself a favor and grab this gem today. You will not regret it.

An excellent resource When thinking about doing a Tech Start
The book is enjoyable to read for a technical topic. The 60 minutes over 30 days is a convenient way to capture the essential items you need when doing a tech startup. I am not sure that you can really start a company in 30 days, but for me that isn't the point. Ramesh approach teaches an entrepreneur to plan and start quickly, with low startup costs. It is a very useful blueprint to ideate and plan for a technology startup. Well worth the read

A rare combination of inspiration and down to the metal practical advice
This book is a rare combination of and down to the metal practical advice. It attempts the seemingly impossible task of getting a technology business off the ground in a month and does it in a very clever way. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme or a thinly veiled affiliate program, though, but a real guide on how to find, set up and run the business that you want to create. After a general introduction, the book is broken into thirty “days”. A case study at the start of each day shows real examples of what can be done, and the rest of each day is packed with detailed advice on everything from finding customers and producing a business plan, to which software you can use for every aspect of a new business and how to gain leads and make sales. The last part of every day consists of a set of actionable tasks which should only take about sixty minutes, hence the title, and a self-assessment exercise to track your progress. The book has some extremely useful advice, not least the continual reminder not to waste time over-thinking things which might change, anyway. This “agile” mindset pervades the book. Limiting the amount of work to just sixty minutes a day seems crazy at first, but the secret power of this technique is that it forces you to make decisions right away rather than putting things off for later consideration or spending weeks shopping for services or tweaking a website. Saying, for example, that a reader has just fifteen minutes to choose an accounting system or email list provider would be ridiculous without support, but Dontha is always there for you with a curated shortlist of options so you can get it done and move on.Some of the advice I was already familiar with, and some of the steps I had already taken in one way or another, and this will likely be the case for many readers. But don’t miss the many other excellent ideas that you may not have encountered before. For example, the section on business plans was like a lightbulb for me, making a baffling concept much clearer and more understandable. The book is even useful if you want to start a tech business but don’t exactly know what, as it includes some self-analysis tools and a list of business suggestions.Although this is a great book, it’s not entirely all that the title might lead you to believe, and you need to understand what you are getting into. As I have already mentioned, it’s not really about how to start a business in just sixty minutes, but in sixty minutes a day (or so) for a month. It’s also not suitable for every technology business. Dontha explains this near the beginning of the book, but just for clarity, the techniques in this book are most suitable for a well-understood business model in an existing market. If you are planning to set up a business which creates a whole new market or needs a lot of work to prove a technology concept, then the steps in this book might not result in a working business by the end of the month. It’s still worth reading, though, as you will probably need the time it saves you on all the other aspects of a business even more.In conclusion, this is a well constructed and inspiring program to help you prioritise, work smarter and take less time to get from “one day ”dreams to a working, money-earning business.
