I initially bought these awhile back for my classroom and enjoyed these. When I bought a different brand, it had a terrible toxic scent which I did not like. This one did not have that scent and seems to be better quality to blend. It is a but pricey, but a good value for the money. The pastels are soft, blendable, and seem to be more durable. Well worth the investment!

This has been a repeat buy for me for my art room cannot say enough about the quality and the vibrancy of these oil pastels they are always on my wish list for my classroom. Easy for my younger art students to use as well. My art room is carpeted with a new carpet this yr. I have found that with a little elbow grease when they get ground into the carpet the colors come out as well which I am thankful for!

I love using these in my art classroom. I was able to afford one pack per student and they have held up through hundreds of students for the semester. They are great for little hands and are holding up well. I like the shading effects that can be achieved when blending and smearing. Kids enjoy them because it's different from crayons for a change. It's messy, but if you teach the art students how to use them properly and prepare them for it, you will get better results.

Colors are bright but they will break very easily. I bought them for my classroom and they didn't last very long with my third graders.
