I have a home baking business and I was asked by a customer to make this Dungeons and Dragons cake for her son’s graduation. I was at lose how to make the decorative elements until I found this mold. I tried using melting chocolate and that didn’t go so well….the dragon and the sword cracked when trying to remove it from the mold. I suggest not using melting chocolate as it doesn’t have the give that fondant does. Fondant worked perfectly and it picked up all the beautiful details in this mold. Just remove carefully as the indentations are kind of small. I loved how it turned out.

With the shapes being so thin, I fully expected the fondant to stick and break while removing it from these molds. Since fondant is soft, this was a strong possibility. To proactively address this, we brushed the inside of the molds with corn starch before pressing the fondant into them. Then, we put the molds into the freezer for a few minutes before removing the fondant. It worked great, and we are so pleased with the detail in the result. In the attached picture, some of the color is from edible paint. But, some of the multi-colored pieces, like the shields, were actually from putting different colored fondant into the molds. These molds worked very well for that. We are very happy with this purchase.

Like the design of the molds but the dragon mold should be a little deeper same with the shield to thin but I make them work in resin projects not where I can post photo right now & don't have one on my phone at the moment.

The first time I used these molds I lost half my resin. I decided to return them because the bottom of the mold is not flat and resin runs over the sides. Additionally, the openings to pour resin in the swords are very, very small. However, I tried one more time and it actually worked. So I will keep them. It only takes about 20-22 ml of resin to make all the molds in this set. And remember - pour SLOWLY. Finished product is great. Note it is small so if you don't want small these are not what you are looking for. But if you do, these are pretty fantastic.

Used chocolate melts but could not remove without dragon and knifes breaking into pieces...shield came out perfect tho. Tried diffrwnt techniques like cooking spray, butter, rubbing alcohol but nothing helped not to break when removing. Guess its mostly for resin or fondant.

Versatile molds! Worked well with air dry clay! Details are good, ease of removal! Makes crafting fun!👍

I’ve done many molds in my day but the the dragon and the swords, they break every time coming out. They are just to small to release from the mold without breaking. The shield itself works great.

All the items work perfectly and the delivery went smoth
