Used this on my PS5 and it fit perfectly. Installation took only 5 minutes was a simple plug and play (once you open the system cover). Bought this to upgrade the storage on my PS5. Installation was easy and the system had no issues reading the drive and formatting it. You get the full capacity advertised on the drive for storage, no space is reserved for system usage or anything. The drive speed is phenomenal and well beyond the recommended specs set by Sony. Easily the best SSD on the market right now and is a must purchase for any PS5 user.***Just a little heads up, I had trouble removing the screw inside the SSD expansion bay. The screw is very flimsy and threads easily and the issue appears wide spread online. So take extra care while installing your SSD and make sure to use the right tools***

I already knew the storage that came on the PS5 was highly insufficient. I YouTube a little and came across this gem. It was absolutely a breeze installing it and formatting for use...pretty was done and uploading LOTS more games in less than 30-minutes. If you're looking to expand your PS5 storage capacity this is it or at least works great for me. I'm literally downloading another 100GB game as I submit this review. Prefect and a breeze.

It's fast, but 1tb is too small, opt for larger size if u can. PS5 games are massive. I'm getting the 4tb one next.
