Yes it has a hole in the center. "Rats" love it, so I find it lasts longer if I secure the bait. I put a few small nails in wood and place the bait over the nails and it forces the rats to eat before they carry it back to the nest.

The product is restricted to use in and around buildings, (within 2 metres) of enclosed spaces. So, it can't be used indoors.

Q: How many blocks are in a container?

Each 4 lb. tub holds about 64 block.

no, it is not labled to work against chipmonks
