Works great for replacement speakers, just be prepared to know how to cut wires in some situations. My rear speakers in my car fit this perfectly, however my front speakers had a wider metal prong than these had, so I had to take the wire that came with the speakers and wire the positive and negatives of this adapter, but it only took about 20 minutes and it ended up working perfectly. Great connector and saves time replacing OEM speakers.

Ordered for my 2007 Ford Edge after my stock speakers blew up. Went to bestbuy and bought myself 4 4 way 6x8 pioneer speakers that were on sale and I was really excited to get home and change them and once I took off one door panel I realized they needed this harness so I was upset and I didn’t want to splice any wires so I did my research and thanks to the reviews I was sure that this harness would fit my Edge they and I purchased them, they came in today and boy oh boy I changed out 2 speakers so far only because it’s really late and I couldn’t see anymore where the screws were at lol but wow this harness saved my speakers and saved me a big headache literally plug and play. I use these to adapt the speakers for aftermarket on a customers 2003 Ford Ranger extended cab. You only need four.

Makes for easy installation of after-market speakers. Unfortunately I had to remove all of my door panels after installation was complete because the black, plastic connectors would rattle around in the inner-door causing loud, obnoxious banging/vibration. There wasn't a lot of space for me to maneuver it, because it's a fairly large connector. I was finally able to zip-tie it out of the way so it's not banging against the metal door. Still worth it, just make sure you tie it up well (and away from the path of the window) the first time!

This DOES fit my 2013 F150. There is no reason to buy the 5601 version at all.

Easy to install

The plug works as it should buy i cut off the ends and solder them do to the slip on crimped fittings didn't fit on to my speakers. But still worth buying in my opinion
