Best results so I love the product and many others from this line - I am at the 3rd jar of the powder ... this product has worked the best for me - never had an acne problem until I reached the 60's! ... also, considering that a mature skin will not do well with powders and other drying products was something to consider - So, this Blemish Powder: 1. it does clear the acne and helps clear the blemish better that any other product out there - and not just on the face 2. it does not dry the skin, especially the mature one 3. I do a spot application with the tip of my finger to make sure I get the powder to penetrate the blemish and the skin and then I blend it with the puff provided so I do not look like I have whiter spots on my face 4. the acnee or the blemish are less visible even though the powder does not have any tint, is just white. I guess the white of the powder with the pink/redness of the blemish balance each other out .... but for the last coverage, I use another brand face powder, like SkinClearing or other mineral powder. 5. for the rest of my face and after healing I use the Vit C cream/ Serum (I prefer the cream).... apply by patting with my palms so the circulation is also invigorated, I let it settle for a min and then I use the Rose Water Toner that will not only hydrate the skin but will also take care of any excess Vit C cream/ serum and also help penetrate deeper making it more efficient 6. whatever other product you choose, please read the Use instructions because Vit C and products with glycolic acids and other acid exfoliators and cleansers do not go well together ....

Mario Badescu always seems to get it just just when it comes to skin products-- this healing blemish face powder can be used during the day (under makeup) or at night before bedtime. It dries up any oily patches on my face and instantly works on those "would be" blemishes/pimples before they actually make their appearance. This stuff is like an instant fix and I make sure to keep it on hand at all times-- LOVE IT!

This product is best used as a medication or as a "prep" product on clean, dry skin. I purchased this and the "Buffering lotion" to use in combo for a heinous cystic acne breakout that started in September and has resisted every treatment known to man. It's so bad that I've sat with masks and peels and treatments for hours hoping to alleviate just a little of the inflammation or spreading of the breakout. After months of enduring this never-ending breakout, I purchased this powder to use with the Buffering lotion and the two combined started clearing my breakout in 2 days! After about 5 days of using both... all but 2 of the cysts are just dry, tiny bumps and the others are gone with just some redness remaining. I cannot believe how fast this worked and how gentle the formula is. The powder isn't nearly as effective as the Buffering lotion, but it has its own virtues. I use the poof and put it all over my face (except your eyes) and layer extra over actual breakouts. Then I use my fingers and actually rub it into my skin until it disappears. After that you can apply your moisturizer and/or make up without a problem and let it work as a base layer. At night I do the same ritual, except I apply the Buffering lotion right after the powder and rub them both in as well as possible. I wait a bit and then apply my nighttime moisturizer and you're done! You can use this with make up as a setting powder, as well. This helps control oil and makes pores/skin look cleaner and more even toned with or without make up. The yellow tone reduces the redness and the powder treats and absorbs without drying out your skin. There is virtually no scent unlike most sulfur-products and can be worn daily to treat acne and oil invisibly, so I'm very pleased. The powder is a little hard to dispense and the poof has no ribbon (handle) so you tend to fumble to get the poof out without getting too much or making a mess. I'd also prefer this be a talc-free formula as its unhealthy to breathe and if you accidentally get this in your nose or down your throat, it's irritating, so be careful to use it in a ventilated area or turn your bathroom fan on. Definitely give this a try because the fact that it helps breakouts and oil invisibly is something most other acne products can't claim. And the price is extremely reasonable, too. ***The first photo shows me with FULL make up attempting to cover up the heinous chin and mouth break-out (ie: base, concealer, foundation, and powder). Even with maximum coverage and a forgiving photo, you can see the lumps and bumps. The second photo is recent and you can see that those lumps and bumps are gone with just a BB Cream as my coverage. The second photo is updated after continued use as of March 2017. (Yes, my haircolor is VERY different....I switched from platinum blonde back to brunette between my original review and this update. But they are both photos of me from December 2016 to March 2017).****

i don't know why, i can't explain it, but all the good things being said - they are true. this powder really is that good. i don't have any photos or "proof" but i can tell you honestly - it works. the day i received the powder, i had been fighting a blemish on my nose. one that kept threatening to surface - it hurt. it was gonna be a doozy when it did finally wake up. that night after washing my washing my face, i applied the powder through my tzone with a little extra where the battle was being waged. the next morning, the battle was over. Mario won. Now i use the powder daily, mostly in the tzone area. it continues to fight off the small blemishes that can just pop up when you aren't looking. the other morning i went to breakfast with my mom while she was in town - we were a little rushed so i skipped make-up and just used the powder with some eyeliner and mascara. she had no idea i wasnt wearing foundation!! the other evening - i came home and did a pretty heavy project outside in like near 100 degree heat. my friend text during that to meet her at a brewery. i came in and quick body cleaned and just put some of the powder on my face to touch up - they had no idea i had just spent 3 hours out in the heat getting all gross and stuff. packaging wise - yes, the container is small but the powder is so fine, it will really last for awhile. the container did not crack or come open in shipping so it did have adequete materials around it. it does come with a small puff - i am not really a fan of the puff - so i got a separate brush for the powder and use that vs the puff.

Es muy bueno para ayudar a la cicatrización y la inflamación de los granitos. Funciona de maravilla sobretodo cuando te la dejas toda la noche. Se nota la diferente en la mañana. No seca el acné quistico, pero otros granos más leves si. También ayuda para disminuir la rojez y el brillo en el rostro. Aunque no recomiendo usar gran cantidad durante el día ya que los tonos verdes del polvo se alcanzan a ver si no usas una base encima, como yo que no me maquilló, me debo moderar cuando lo uso en el día.

Soy propensa al acné, con una piel rayando a lo delicado , por lo que siempre soy temerosa que al momento de comprar algún producto de la cara pueda esta hacerme daño, tengo que decir que compre este producto con algunas reservas pese a los buenos comentarios que encontré , me llego súper rápido , todo muy bien empacando y de inmediato lo probé, mi sorpresa fue que a parte de no dañarme mi piel , me ayudó un 80% en prevenir la aparición de más granitos , no activó la erupción del acné , ojo es necesario que diferencien qué esté producto no es para curar el acné o que te quite por arte de magia ( de un día para otro ) los granitos o acné que ya te salieron y son súper visibles , sino para prevenir la aparición de granitos, un ejemplo fueron los granitos que me salieron antes de que llegara el producto ,conforme me ponía el polvo por las noches se fueron secando y al final del 3 día desaparecieron no dejaron esa molesta manchita que por lo general deja los granitos en mi cara , y los intentos de aparición de granos ( cuando te das cuenta que se empieza a ver rojo o sientes un bultito y sabes que eso se convertirá en un horrible grano al día siguiente) se quedaron en eso en intento ya que al momento de poner el polvo en la noche en esa zona al día siguiente ya volvía a la normalidad y sin ningún grano . Definitivamente es un producto que lo seguiré comprando , y será parte de los productos favoritos para usar como rutina de cuidado en la noche , a mi me funciono.

Buen producto !!! Te deja la piel como porcelana ! A pesar de que es tratamiento para el acné , sirve como polvo para maquillarte !! Esta increíble , no tiene olor feo, la sensación es suave , para todo tipo de piel! Buena elección para el cuidado de la piel de tu cara !!
