Genuinely one of the best hair dyes I have ever used. Lasts so long at full vibrancy (2-3 weeks depending how often I wash it) and does not stain. I have gone to bed with wet hair multiple times right after dying it and it has not stained my sheets. It never stains my skin when I dye it. It smells nice and the purple shade specifically looks good over non-bleached hair (mine is naturally a dark strawberry blonde). I have also used the blue dye and that is another winner. It does stain more than the purple but still not nearly as much as other dyes out there. I would absolutely recommend this brand! It's a much better price than Good Dye Young and honestly, after using both, I prefer it.

I pre lightened my hair to what was a brassy blonde as I had blue black hair to start. Used the genie and the lighter similar color not sure the name and applied for my short mohawk ish cut it took less than a third of 1 bottle combined I applied with gloved fingers to dry clean unconditioned hair as per instructions. Let sit for 2 hours for maximum saturation and and rinsed with cool water I had no problems with bleeding or staining the water ran clear in less than a minute. The result is a highly saturated beautiful color. I shampoo daily bc I have major ocd and with the saturation im looking forward to the slightly faded version.

This is my go to! I’ve been dying my hair purple for almost 10 years. I’ve tried iroiro, arctic fox and lime crime. I keep coming back to this! I do bleach my hair to blonde before putting any purple on to make it super vibrant and keeps the color longer. I love how it doesn’t turn all of my towels, bedding and shower purple. (It does stain sinks if it drips but comes up well with toilet bowl cleaner) It will stain your painted walls if any somehow drips so be cautious of that. I use petroleum jelly and gloves to keep the dye off my skin when dying my hair. I’ve always had success with this jar. The small tube, not so much. I love this huge jar!! Also whatever is left in the jar, I add conditioner to it and shake it up so I have some color refreshing conditioner for a few weeks until I need to refresh the color. Would highly highly recommend.
