Nice. Will update review after I use the whole thing.
I was kind of skeptical but I figured why not. I have fine wavy hair, low porosity, color treated, mid back length hair. I did some research before buying this product or mixing the blend myself. This review is of my first impression after one wash. Yes, it is not sudsy and you will not get a lather - it’s all natural. Yes, it will still clean your hair well (I did a castor oil scalp pre-wash treatment and that stuff is THICK and washed right out) . Yes, it has a scent and being that it is natural herbs you can expect earthy herbal scent. It does not smell bad, I don’t mind it. If you don’t like earthy herbal scents it’s not for you (ps I purchased this one over the one without hibiscus just because of the added benefit of hibiscus for my hair, it will not alter the scent and make it smell floral. It’s a herbal blend.) . No, the hibiscus didn’t “dye my hair” and/ or no residue I'm assuming some people didn’t wash it out throughly and had some transfer on the towel? My hair is also color treated and I recently put in a color depositing mask which does wash out after washes (even with regular shampoo) this week and it looks the same. However, it was freshly put in and usually lasts 3 washes in my hair anyway so I wanted to mention that because if you have color treated hair it doesn’t matter what shampoo you use you still need to use a toner or touch up your color (especially if it’s temporary or a demi color) . Anyway my hair is soft and it worked well to wash out the oil. I mixed it to a thicker consistency similar to crepe pancake mix so it was easier for me to apply especially because I’m clumsy. I followed up with an Ayurveda conditioner bar and my hair didn’t feel tangled at all. Usually with regular shampoo and conditioner I get snags and tangles so that was nice. Once my hair was dry (I air dried) I loved how it felt. It was soft and not frizzy. I also added a touch of Alma oil on my ends when my hair was damp since my ends are dry naturally. Overall good first impression.

Pleasant smell
I really like this over the other shampoos I’ve used previously. It really does a great job of cleaning my scalp and hair. I did put oil in my hair the prior to washing. I would recommend using oil before and after using the shampoo to avoid dryness. The scent is nice and light.

Oil hair before washing for best results
I have just finished my second bag of this shampoo and it has been working well for me. I have long searched for a natural hair cleanser for my long wavy low porosity hair that will not leave buildup or cause excess oil production. At first I was experiencing some breakage at my mid lengths especially because I am not using it with a conventional conditioner, I did some digging and learned that traditionally people lightly oil their mid lengths and ends before using herbal cleansers to prevent this. So I have been using argan oil about an hour before washing and have seen a great improvement. Would recommend 👍🏿

It's a no go !!!
I wanted to give it a try because many of my clients like only all natural stuff on their head . I let it soak in water and a small crock pot overnight the next morning I was excited to use it in my hair I didn't get any of my eyes cuz I was very careful because I read that it could burn but it's stripped my hair down to nothing not only will it wash out your hair color but it didn't even produce a sudsy like product it didn't cleanse it it didn't have any effect other than really bad smell and stripping the color out of my hair.

It is a very effective, great product
It instantly stops my hair from falling after the first use. Use it routinely, and you will love it! It mixes very easily with water. My hair didn't get dry either! I have been using it for two months, and my hair fall has significantly reduced; to ensure no significant gaps during applications, I wash my hair with this product once a week. I also stopped using all the other store-bought products, like shampoos, conditioners, and hair dye. For hair dye, I'm only using hena mix with some indigo powder, and it works great; highly recommended👍

Nice Product🙂🙂
The OG Havintha without hibiscus is amazing! I really liked this product, though I wouldn’t say it’s the best.

Nice completely natural hair cleanser... I have extremely fine and limp hair which can't withstand hair powder cleanser. But because of methidana, there is no tugging of the hair and is extremely smooth to use...

It is a tad difficult to use since one has to keep a small container to mix it up. However, it mixes quite well with minimal stirring. Have to take care while applying since the eyes start burning if it goes inside. After trying a ton of other ready to use shampoos, this one is probably the most natural, non toxic and effective one you can buy. No matter how dirty/dandruff prone your hair is, using it twice a week can itself reduce all kinds of hair problems within two weeks itself. No need to even use a hair conditioner. Dont be fooled by its absolute lack of lather. Infact lather shampoos are worst for hair.
