Soft bristle brush with 6' flexible handle for cleaning standard 22mm CPAP tubing without a heating element.
I used this brush to clean the standard sized (22mm) CPAP air tube shown in the picture below, and the bristled end was a perfect fit to scrub the interior surface of the tube with the soapy solution (with Dawn) that I was instructed to use for cleaning my CPAP equipment. I think it is important to gently scrub the interior of the CPAP air tube to remove any possible growth of mold, mildew, or bacteria, because any stuff like that will be inhaled directly into your lungs. The length of the coiled spring-like wire that is the handle of the brush is just sufficiently stiff that I could push it all the way through my standard 6-foot air tube. The coiled wire handle is also sufficiently flexible to allow the bristled end to go around gentle curves, but NOT sharp curves, so you must straighten out your CPAP air tube as you push the brush down through it. I kept a soapy water solution inside the tube whilst pushing the brush through it, which required a fair bit of juggling, but I think the interior is better cleaned this way than if I simply sloshed the soapy water through it, which was my previous method. Cleaning the air tube better is particularly important if you have used your CPAP while sick and had the unfortunate experience of sneezing into the tube or otherwise contaminating the interior surface, which I have. However, this brush is just a bit too broad to fit into the narrower white plastic tube that connects this main air tube to my mask. But that small white tube is also only a foot long or so, so a much smaller brush would fit it better. Also, I am NOT sure how well this would work for the standard gray plastic Respironics air tube that has the integrated heating element in it, as that tubing has much deeper indentations on its circumference that this replacement tubing that I now use. I am also not sure if scrubbing with the bristles would scrape off the insulation on that heating element if you used this bristle brush on tubing with the heating element, which strikes me as undesirable and potentially dangerous. As I do not use the humidifier any more and thus no longer use the heated tubing, I plan to continue to use this brush for the plain plastic air hose shown in this picture.

Works great with Resmed ClimatelineAir heated tubing
This couldn't be simpler to use; I've only used it on the Resmed Climateline tubing that comes with the Resmed Airsense 10. I haven't used the short brush that comes with it and will probably find a need for it that has nothing to do with CPAP. The method that works best for me is to lay out the tubing in the bathtub with the mask end facing up, smoothly without sharp bends, and run some very warm water through it. Then, a good squeeze of unscented dish soap (the so-called "pure" versions), which acts as both a cleaner and lubricant to slide the brush through the tubing; it just makes it to the end before it runs out of brush to grab hold of. After that, I just retract the brush (sometimes it's necessary to push the brush back and in twist the tubing a bit while pulling out again, adding detergent as-needed) and clean the bristles and metal with more warm water (I keep a small pail in the tub so that the end of the tubing never touches dirty water, you could use a large bowl or something similar), then run warm water through the tubing until it runs suds-free for a couple of minutes, rinse the outside of the tubing, then hang to dry. Note that when you pick up the water filled hose, a lot of water comes out the end, so keep it away from you! I'm still rotating the first two pieces of tubing and will keep doing so until something goes wrong them. It's so easy to use, that during flu season, I clean and rotate them every three days. Since I use the Airtouch F20 mask which is incompatible with the ozone cleaning machines. this is a nice inexpensive way to keep the tubing scrubbed clean.

It's decent
As a CPAP user, maintaining cleanliness is paramount for effective therapy. The Resplabs CPAP Hose Cleaning Brush offers a promising solution for keeping CPAP tubes, masks, and accessories free from dirt and bacteria. However, its performance leaves a bit to be desired. On the positive side, this cleaning brush provides a comprehensive cleaning solution, designed to tackle various components of the CPAP system. Its 8-in-1 functionality is impressive, allowing users to efficiently clean not just the hose but also masks and other accessories with ease. However, the brush's design presents some inconvenience. One recurring issue is its tendency to get stuck in the hose during cleaning a bit. This inconvenience has led me to use the brush less frequently than I ideally should, compromising the cleanliness of my CPAP equipment at times. While the brush's bristles effectively remove debris and residue, the overall usability suffers due to its tendency to get trapped in the hose a little. Improvements in the design, perhaps by incorporating a smoother, more flexible brush head or making it slightly smaller, could greatly enhance the user experience. Despite its shortcomings, the Resplabs CPAP Hose Cleaning Brush remains a valuable tool for CPAP hygiene. With a few adjustments to its design and functionality, it could become a more convenient and reliable solution for users seeking efficient cleaning of their CPAP equipment.

Giod product. Cleaned my hoses but I wish the spring cable with the brushes was a little stiffer.

Clean as a Whistle....
This works! so good to have a small brush for the nose piece and not only a longer brush to reach inside the tube but also the wire "snake." Easy to work with and does a great job. Thumbs up!

I like this product as its easy to use for your CPAP tube, to make sure that anything in the tubing is brushed out. It's just long enough to reach the other end. I also use it to clean my mask and breathing piece. Very good.
