These are terrific for making my own laundry detergent, which I have done for many years. I like the unscented variety of ZOTE best, so I can add my favorite essential oils, to scent the detergent as I prefer. These ZOTE bars arrived very fresh, and I was able to shred them easily, so they can be made into either liquid or powdered detergent. My clothes and linens are soft and clean, just as we require. Amazon Prime also carries the other necessary ingredients-Borax Powder and Washing Soda-so whenever we run low, I can always order what I need. Though mild enough for the most delicate cottons and wools, it’s strong enough to get out the toughest baby stains. Win-Win!

Great product found a recipe to make my own laundry soap using this in the recipe and it cleans better than commercial laundry soaps!

I wear whites every day and it's easy to just hand wash as I change each day. Don't have to worry about color dinging as the soap is white. For stubborn marks I soak the clothes overnight the soap wrapped around the stain. Next day stain is easy to remove with little hand washing effort.

I am having so much fun. I remember when I was kid Mom would make her own laundry soap and when I heard about Zote I wanted to try it. I tried it on grease spots on a blouse that did not come out in the wash and Zote got it out! I have made some liquid soap with Zote and use it in pump lotion bottle on my sink and counters. I'm excited to keep finding ways to use Zote in many different ways, not just stains on my laundry. I did see some information that using it in your laundry machine could clog it up, so I haven't been willing to try that yet, but I have shredded some. The stain on the blouse I just rubbed the spot on the blouse right with Zote bar. Have fun with it. Give it a try and experiment. You really have little to lose.

I make my own detergent and love adding Zote soap to it. It smells clean and is easy to work with - whether you shred it or cut it into small pieces. Inexpensive, but gets the job done.

I use the cheese grater and add it to regular detergent. I noticed towels and whites are bright and smell good. Good replacement for bleach!

Love to use this for everyday needs, but mostly on white baseball pants. This take stains out of everything. Highly suggest!
