This is easily the best product I have found at removing aged tree sap. Easy to use. Spray on, let it sit. You will see it start to remove the sap, wipe with some elbow grease. For those sap spots that are really baked on a few more applications may be needed but it is well worth it. Awesome value for money and the quality result is work every penny. Spray effectiveness is like a oil spray for cooking, easy to manage.

I bought a new car in October of 2018. In July of 2019, I ended up with the most disgusting lime green neon spots all over the windshield, hood, and just a few on the sides of my car after a road trip on an interstate. I am assuming it was some sort of strange bug because I didn't see anyone actually painting while we were travelling.Of course, I used the washer fluid and wipers, but it didn't affect it. After returning home, I went through the car wash. It didn't help. My local car wash changed companies and added a promotion where you could get unlimited car washes for one month for just $1 (after one month the price would increase to $20.) I jumped at the chance. Surely, repeated high pressure car washes would remove that filth from my pretty car. I even pointed it out to the gentleman with the big brush of prewash fluid, and he suggested I make a few trips through the wash right then. He was sure it would come off. It didn't.I tried different products. If Coca Cola can remove rust from car batteries, that should do it, right? Wrong.I tried Dawn blue dish washing detergent, Krud Cutter, Lysol, Fantastic, WD40, Goo Gone and Goof Off . The Goof Off made it a little lighter with a lot of scrubbing, but as many spots as there were, I didn't have that much elbow grease in me.I "Googled" how to get bug guts off car. I'm glad I did. A YouTube video demonstrated this product. They warned that this product is not cheap, but that it is very effective. They were right. I excitedly bought a can. I hesitated momentarily at the price, but I figured it was worth it if it removed those neon green spots.The day I got the can in the mail, I ran outside with it and some paper towels. My spouse probably thinks I'm insane because I really do get crazy over some strange things, but I sprayed this stuff on the spots, waited a few minutes, wiped with paper towels, and the spots disappeared! I couldn't believe it. I tried so many things! This even smells good! I like citrus smells, and this has a strong one. I spent a long time spraying and wiping because I had hundreds of spots, but it did the job.No evidence afterwards that I had used anything on the car. No discoloration, or texture change to the painted metal or fiberglass. I waited a while to review this product just to be sure that I wouldn't notice a difference where I had used it after a while. This was even used on the windshield. No harm to the glass either.I highly recommend this product. Yes, it's pricey, but if you have tried other things, and are struggling to remove something adhered, give this a try. Hide it so that everyone in your house doesn't grab it as the first thing to try, but keep it on hand. :) I know I will buy this product again. Stop scrubbing and swearing, and buy Citrol.

after a recent trip, I ended up with a massive amount of bugs splattered on my grill that a pressure washer couldn't remove, I ordered a can of Schaeffer's Citrol, and it worked perfectly and with relative ease.I deducted a star because the spray nozzle was missing when I received it, and returns aren't allowed, I called the 1-800 number on the can, and Schaeffers quickly sent me a nozzle via UPS.

I have used this a few times to easily clean bugs off of my truck and 5th wheel camper. Just got back from a cross country trip pulling camper and the front of my truck and camper had many many bugs splattered everywhere. I washed the front of truck to get off the bulk of the guts. I then sprayed Citrol Cleaner all over the front of the truck (in sections) letting it soak in for 60 seconds or so. The bugs came right off with just a soapy car wash cloth. It also worked very well on the few places I got road tar on the truck. Great stuff. Will use it on the front of the camper but plan to spray it only on those very tough bug guts that don't come off with a good scrub. I am sure there will be several of those.

Citrol works great. I used it to remove adhesive that was left behind after removing graphics from a race car. It's also used to remove black marks from tire clag that gets kicked up into the car while on the race track. It gets it right off with ease.

I was getting ready to use this product for the first time. I pulled the cap off to try it out and noticed there was no sprayer nozzle on can. Twenty six dollars gone to waste. All I want is a nozzle not to return this product just send me a nozzle to does this product works. Make it right.
