I would use 5 ounces to clean your King size comforter. 10 ounces (entire packet) will clean 10 down jackets or 5 sleeping bags. I would think you will be safe with using 5 ounces (1/2 of pouch) while adding a second rinse never hurts. Drying with wool dryer balls will expedite the drying process significantly. Amazon sells these New Zealand sheep dryer balls for about $20 and worth every penny. Good luck!!

Can I wash more than one jacket at a time?

Sure, if the machine is large enough to accommodate more than one jacket or even a seeping bag. It's the machine, not the product that limits. BB
