I did need a couple layers for the shining I was going for, but now that is finished it looks great!

Our main living area is Australian spotted gum timber flooring that has been coated with polypropelene and it looks wonderful. However, there are two main wear areas - in front of the fridge and at the end of our family room table, where I sit for every meal. The surfaces are covered in many very fine scratches and makes the finish on the timber look dull. The natural finish is satin. Two coats of Weiman Hardwood Polish & Restorer has removed any signs of the dull look. It looks normal again and I cannot see where the treatment with this product starts and ends. It is really good !!! The instructions are a little vague, so here's what I did: (1) I cleaned the area to be treated and allowed it to dry. (2) I squirted product from the container directly onto the floor, then spread it by hand using a microfibre cloth. The amount of product I used was enough to leave the floor looking wet when I finished spreading it. I think that's important. If you can see dry areas BEFORE you finish, you haven't applied enough product. It should look evenly wet all over before you move on to other areas. (3) Block off the wet area - use chairs or something to warn others not to walk there - and leave it until fully dry. Final comment. Homes with polypropalene timber flooring need to be cared for and it can be done provided all family members are disciplined. We don't wear outdoor footwear indoors. Most of the time, we wear socks only or bare feet in summer. My wife dusts the floors every day, to remove any abrasive material. She sprays a mix of water and euclyptus oil as she goes and spreads it using a special microfibre pad under an applicator style mop. A fine mist is all that's applied.

We have an old very costly handmade wood floor at home. Years of use and probably people cleaning it wrongly made it fade. I treated it with wax for a month and after I applied this product. The result is impressive. I use it once per two months to nourish the floor. You don’t need to mix it with anything, which makes it extra-easy to apply.

Ich habe die Weiman Politur für unser Wohnzimmer gekauft, da das Echtholzparkett über die Jahre doch einige matte Stellen und feine Kratzer abbekommen hat. Ich muss sagen, ich bin wirklich begeistert vom Ergebnis. Das Auftragen war total unkompliziert und die Konsistenz ist genau richtig, sodass man das Mittel gleichmäßig verteilen kann, ohne dass Schlieren entstehen. Schon nach dem ersten Durchgang sieht das Holz viel satter aus und hat diesen schönen, tiefen Glanz zurückbekommen, den man sonst nur direkt nach dem Einzug hat. Besonders toll finde ich, dass die kleinen oberflächlichen Kratzer tatsächlich fast unsichtbar geworden sind. Man sollte nur darauf achten, den Boden vorher wirklich gründlich zu reinigen und der Politur genug Zeit zum Trocknen zu geben, bevor man wieder drüberläuft. Seit der Anwendung sieht der gesamte Raum viel gepflegter aus und ich bilde mir ein, dass der Boden jetzt auch etwas weniger staubempfindlich ist. Für mich hat sich der Kauf absolut gelohnt und ich werde das Produkt definitiv wieder verwenden, wenn der Glanz irgendwann mal nachlässt.
