You really just have to shove it in there and you will hear a click once it's in all the way. The little flaps on the tail should be facing up.

I just received it today. My grandson was so looking forward to playing with it, but it just doesn't do a thing! Batteries are new and properly installed. The foam cartridge has been properly filled; switch is in the "on" position. What a disappointment this toy has turned out to be! If I can't fix it easily, I will be sending it back.

It throws fogg!!

The media could not be loaded. Normal figures like this just sit there like a Showpiece. This dragon is incredible and it can convert water into fogg which is very attractive and one of its main feature. When I first bought it I was not awared that it could convert water into fogg. I was very surprised and I am very happy with this 5 star productfive ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
