I have tried many canes since the beginning of my disability 20 years ago. 3 years ago I found this company that hand makes there produce in the Ukraine. From the pictures, the product looked beautiful, but I’ve been down that road before with other canes. There was just something in the way they described their product that encouraged me to try it One of the problems I’ve had with canes is the hand fatigue and cramping after just a little while if using it. Another problem I had with other canes is that the handle and shaft were not connected well or the shaft was not as solid as described. Usually the picture did not match the finished product. When I received my cane it looked like a piece of art, just gorgeous, but very usable. The handle and shaft were expertly connected. This finish was flawless. Most importantly I did not get hand fatigue or muscle spams even after going for multiple hour walks. Also, this cane saved me many times from falling with its sturdy construction and I weigh over 220 and it has held up very well. I just spoke with the company about an issue I caused with the cane and they were so wonderful with helping me sort the problem out. Finally, with them being located in the Ukraine, please say a prayer or kind words for them

What a beautiful, well-crafted walking cane! Purchased for my spouse to use during hip surgery recovery. He wanted a walking aide that was stylish and did not look like "an old man cane"--the Asterom cane completely fits the bill, and he has been absolutely delighted with it! It is quite handsome, understated, sturdy, and comfortable to use. Gave my husband a boost of confidence to walk into work carrying this elegant cane, and he has received many, many compliments! In addition, Asterom customer service is top-notch. The company reached out to me via Amazon to see how we were liking the product. Told them that it was perfect, and we were disappointed when my husband dropped it on the concrete and chipped a piece of wood off the handle. No questions asked, the company shipped us a replacement handle from their manufacturing facility in Ukraine. Received it yesterday, and the cane has happily been restored to its original perfection. Can't recommend highly enough!

I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and was using crutches heavily. I have been getting better and needed something not as "major." I did some research and stumbled upon this cane. Checked out few, read through reviews, watched some videos and settled with this. It's been a few weeks now, and its been working fine. Easily assembled, just a few parts to put together. Package came in nicely wrapped and secured; not missing anything. They also provide you some extra attachments incase you lose or just wear them out. I've been using the cane daily, with no issues. It's stable, not too heavy or light, just right.

Having had a surgical procedure with an unfortunate result of collateral damage in the form of foot drop, I am now destined to wearing an AFO, and a cane helps me with balance and stability. Go ahead, invest in an Asterom cane, and see for yourself that you are indeed worthy of its quality, function, appearance and support. The cane is a piece of art that is as tough as it is beautiful. Never before have you had a cane feel so comfortable in your hand! This is one of the best purchases I’ve made; one that intersects aesthetics, purpose, and a make-you-feel-good perspective about having to require a cane.

I am soon to be 65 and had a full hip replacement 3 1/2 weeks ago. Knowing that I would soon transition to a cane from a walker, I looked for a high quality, USA made, sturdy, and attractive cane. I’m physically fit and 230#. I’d tried fiberglass canes in medical supply stores but was unimpressed. I chose this cane based on all of the attributes described, and as a small businessman myself. This week I switched to the cane per my physical therapist. I have uneven ground around my house. This cane offers complete stability and confidence in going from a walker with 4 contact points to one with a single one. This is a purchase that I will recommend to my friends, families, and people who stop me to compliment me on the attractiveness and metal ornate band. My wholehearted thanks to the old world craftsmen that forged these canes one at a time. My family immigrated for the American Dream in the early 1900’s. You are what makes America great. A well made cans for a larger hand. Compared to the other canes I’ve purchased, this is appx 15-20% larger scale which makes it slightly heavier too. It seems very strong. The decorative metal ring is well made and attractive. I like this cane quite a bit. Good price too. I would not hesitate to recommend this cane for someone with a larger hand.

My oak cane is really nice to say the least. For being hand crafted, I have to give it it's props. Solid oak and sturdy. The canes come in 36" and being 5'8"I ended up cutting 2" off of it to fit me better. I was going to cut off 3" but figured I could cut an additional 1" off if need be. The way it worked out, the 2" was good. Thank God for the DE Walt Miter saw. It made a nice smooth cut and the cap went right back on with no problem. I bought the oak cane without the handle ornament. I doubt the$34.00 is worth the brass handle ornament. But that's my opinion. I did however buy a 3mm x 5m leather strap to customize it some what. As far as the leather wrist strap you can buy separately, mine fell apart within 2 hours of receiving it and the day before I got the cane. The rivet came apart making it a 3 piece set. Stay away from that.

I don't write reviews very often, but I have to say this is an excellent product. Attractive, well built, lightweight yet very sturdy, well balanced...did I say attractive, Beautiful wood grain. After experiencing a bad fall requiring knee surgery, I am confident this cane is providing great support. Plus...if we must Limp....why not do it in Style. :) Love it so much that I gave it a name WIIILLLSSSOONNN !!! (castaway fame).

Just looking for a cane for my new knee replacement ,this works perfect, I’m 6ft and it’s 36 inches . Classic good looks and colour .
