***UPDATE*** So i forgot to come update. It's only been two years! LOL I still really love these gel polishes! I have even purchased more since I left my original review. I've even gotten rid of my old brands that i was using. They wear and last so well! I will definitely keep using this brand for as long as they make it! And a tip for those of you who might be having problems... your nail bed prep is literally the most important step! Go watch a YouTube video if you don't know how. If you're struggling with application or how long it lasts on your nails I guarantee it's not the polish! It's probably your prep technique or you're not using the right amount of polish. AGAIN...PREP YOUR NAIL BEDS PROPERLY, then do thin layers. You can do multiple layers if you need to! ❤️ I have been a nail tech for ten years now and decided to try something different after finally getting tired of fighting with my old "professional" brand. I purchased this product with my own money and am not being compensated in any way for my review. That being said I am seriously impressed with the beetles line of gel polishes! I purchased several of their different sets this last week and have been extremely happy with everything I have tried so far. Everything came in pristine condition, safely packed in a beautiful box with detailed instructions on how to use the product as well as troubleshooting tips. There is a nice variety here between cream, glitter and jelly options and the wide variety of colors. All of the polishes applied like a dream. I put two coats of color on all of the swatches but there were a couple of the cream pastels that I could have gotten away with only one coat. Even the chunky glitters went on smoothly and required minimal fuss to get the glitters even. This set also comes with a base coat, glossy top coat and a matte top coat all of which were top notch products as well! The base coat seems to do its job and the gloss top coat went on smoothly, leveled itself out well and is nice and shiny. The real star of the show for me was the matte top coat! This is the first one I found that goes on and cures with no streaking! If you're on the fence or confused about the many options of gel polishes available here on Amazon, just stop looking and buy this one! You won't be disappointed! I will update my review with how well the polish wears and how long it lasts after I have done a set of nails with them.

Great quality and beautiful colors, it really lasts on your nails, the only thing is that the bottles are smaller than I expected them to be, but it's still a good deal for the low price

Fun colors and the gel polish lasts

I just started doing my own gel nails at home so I got this sample because I wasn't sure what colors I wanted to purchase. I've bought 2 single full-size bottles from Beetles before and the polish was good quality. However, a few of these sample bottles are not good quality at all. Also, be aware that these bottles are tiny -- you'll probably get only 3-5 uses out of them. On the other hand, I did discover a few amazing colors that I love and will purchase them in the full bottle size. Picture is of my favorite color from the sample pack.

I absolutely love the Beetles Neon Gel Nail Polish set! The colors are super bright and perfect for summer or vacation looks. The polish goes on smoothly and cures quickly under my LED lamp. I used a base and top coat, and my manicure lasted well over a week with no chips. Some shades need two coats for full coverage, but the final result is worth it. Great value and quality—highly recommend for anyone who loves bold, fun nails!

As a person who does nails in the salon as my profession, the last thing I want to do is stay at work late to do my own nails. That being said, I still like looking professional and having my own nails done. Naturally the solution is to have a little kit at home so I can do them there whenever I want. Let me tell you that this kit delivers. First of all, the organization for this bundle is so great because the grid that is provided keeps the bottles upright. If you have ever lived with a gel polish collection you know that gummy exploded threads are a reality. All the bottles and grid are also black with a color label on the top (eliminates half the work of labelling yourself) and this helps preserve the integrity of the polish by limiting exposure to light. Delightful, literally! The brush on these polishes is very easy to use on yourself and the texture of the polish manages to provide great coverage with 2 thin coats, and the topcoat is a no wipe variety, which eliminates additional steps and exposure to chemicals. The matte top coat in particular is a show stopper and is maybe the best one I have used on myself or clients. Your base and two topcoat options is a huge value, as these products alone in backbar pricing are usually double the cost of the color coats. Lastly, I would like to say that proper nail prep is the key to keeping gel polishes on- the cuticles have to be addressed and removed from the nail plate, and the nail has to be properly cleaned with alcohol or acetone before polish can even be applied. User error accounts for more issues with gel polish application at home than the product does. Keep in mind that you should be reading the instruction material included with this product and treating it as a chemical safety manual. While this product boasts a lack of harmful chemicals, allergies to any gel based product are caused by exposure, therefore try to avoid getting the product on your skin during application. Repeated contact with your skin (as in a crappy polish application every time) will increase your risk for exposure allergens to gel methacrylic products. It also will severely limit the life of your manicure, as a proper seal off the skin (which is coated in a natural oil called sebum) is what truly guarantees a chip free finish for 10-21 days. I will be buying a ton of these because they're so much fun!

This is my second purchase of Beetles products and I love it 💕 I'm also new to doing my own gel nails and the photo above is my third try and I'm speechless how easy is to do your own gel nails and to be able to make it like a professional 💅 I love how simple it is, I love these retro colors and the price 😀 It is a win, win situation ❤️ Big recommendations for this brend. For sure gonna order more of it.

I should’ve know it was too good to be true with a price like that. Been doing gel nails at home for a while without issues, started using Beetles a few months ago and my last 2 sets have been incredibly itchy, red and swollen. Did a bit of research and come to the conclusion I’ve formed an allergy to gel polish. My nails are lifting from their nail beds, they’re burnt (even after using sunscreen) and discoloured - I have totally destroyed my nails using this product. Picture attached was after the first reaction, they’re much worse after the second as I didn’t realise what was happening. Please do yourself a favour, either go to a professional or invest in some quality nail polish. I’m devastated that this’ll now be an ongoing issue whenever I want my nails painted.
