Lovely tasting cookies, fresh, quality chocolate and shortbread used. You don’t need more than two ;-) Even one cookie is satisfying.

This holiday season was approaching and to my wondering eyes did not appear in the stores, my milk chocolate biscuits. And let me tell you, the others just aren't as good. The chocolate is good, the biscuit is good, and their marriage is divine. Excellent ratio of flavors. You can't find that just in any old product! Amazon Fresh to the rescue. Where all my grocery stores failed me, there they were with my treats. And now I can sit with by biscuit and coffee and enjoy the approaching chaos.

The cookie rates a "5", but the packaging only deserves a "1". First, the cookie: true butter cookie that, even though thin, melts in your mouth; the chocolate smoothed on top has the silky, rich taste of a high-end truffle. These are special guest dessert treats. However, the packaging erects hurdles to unwrapping the treat: there are two stacks of three cookies in each foil wrapper; the cookies are one on top of the other with no pastry or parchment paper between. I think you know what this means: the cookies stick together! If refrigerated, the cold cookies harden and cannot be pried apart without cracking or crumbling. If left at room temperature, the chocolate may melt, making separating the cookies a messy process. Are the cookies superb? Yes! Are they worth the price? Probably. Should the packaging be improved? Yes. I love the cookie, but will give a lot of thought to buying them again because of the packaging. And that's a shame.

These chocolates are soooo good. They arrived in perfect conditions.
